Dear Birthparent Hi! We are Mark and Cammy. Although we have never met, we can't pretend to understand what you are going through at this tumultuous time. We admire you for the choice you have made. We know you are considering adoption because you love your child very much and want the best for him or her. We are moved by your generosity and courage in putting concern for your child above all other considerations.

We have tried for years to have children, but have known in our hearts that the opportunity to have our own children may not come to pass for us. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have been unable to complete our family with children. We both have a great love for children and have such a yearning in our hearts to have the fulfillment of raising a loving family.

About us and our family We are dedicated to our faith and it is the foundation upon which we have established our lives and our home. Our faith allows us to serve others as well as providing opportunities for community service and humanitarian work. We know that children are a beautiful gift from Heavenly Father and they are to be cherished and taught about the importance of family and moral values. Our children will be raised around other families with the same important values we hold dear to our hearts.

We have been very blessed to have opportunities in our lives to be around children in different capacities. Through our church, we have been associated with children of all ages through different callings we have held. We have worked one on one with children from age 0 thru 18 and have established life-long friendships with most of them and their families.

We have two dogs, Lacey and Misty, that are our babies. They have no clue they are dogs and are an integral part of our family. We would be lost without them. We have also been fortunate to live very close to Cammy's sister and her family. Her husband and Mark have been very close and worked together at different times. This closeness has provided us the opportunity to be there in all aspects of our niece and nephew's lives. We are very close to them and often think of them as if they were our own children. They have grown up with exceptional values, standards, and educational goals. Mark's family lives in Utah and Colorado. We try to travel there each year to see them. We have two beautiful nieces there that we love to see and have so much fun with. We have loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who are looking forward to having a new baby to love, teach, and play with.

Cammy enjoys being with family, reading, playing the piano, dancing, playing games, camping, scuba diving, traveling anywhere, and playing with her doggies.

Mark enjoys anything to do with nature. He loves being outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, or scuba diving. His interests include reading, playing games, movies, paintball, playing with his doggies and dancing with Cammy. He loves anything that includes his family.

All about Cammy by Mark:
Cammy is a very caring and giving person. She is always cheerful, willing to give everyone and anyone a smile. Everyone is always complimenting me on her personality. She loves children and loves to be around children. At church the kids are always coming up to her wanting hugs. She is a hard worker and very dependable. I love her very much and she is my best friend.

All about Mark by Cammy:
Mark is a wonderful, loving, caring person who has lots of patience and great ideas. He is wonderful around the house. He helps with anything that is needed. He works very hard and is willing to help anyone in need. He has a wonderful personality that children relate to. He can be just like a kid at times and this is what makes him such a wonderful, loving person to be around. I know these qualities will help him be a great father to our children. My favorite memory with Mark is the day we were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. I love Mark very much and know that this has enabled our family to live together forever.

Things we like to do We enjoy learning and doing things together. We have learned to scuba dive together, Cammy is learning piano, and most recently we have begun to learn a variety of ballroom dances. Although we will never be dancing with the stars, we have a lot of fun! We enjoy doing things together as it brings us closer to each other as we grow together.

We enjoy taking several family vacations each year. Sometimes we go camping (so we can bring Lacey and Misty), scuba dive, go on cruises, Disneyland, or just find somewhere new to see and learn about. Some of the most memorable vacations we have had were Easter on a beach in Mexico, camping for Thanksgiving, San Francisco, and Disneyland.

Some of our favorite traditions are Christmas Eve when we drive all over town looking at Christmas lights and singing Christmas carols or reminiscing of past Christmas'. Then we go home and make homemade hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies for Santa Claus while we remember the story of Jesus Christ's birth. For Easter and Thanksgiving as many of our family members as are able, get together to have a big feast and each of us take an opportunity to say what we are thankful for. We are hoping that we will have a new addition to our family that we can be thankful for this year.

Our children will have love, education, and many happy memories as they grow.
