Kurt & Colleen are hopeful adoptive parents from Massachusetts waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

1-877-742-2749 Hello Birthparents,

We are Colleen and Kurt. Thank you for considering the choice of adoption for your baby. We hope that we are what you are looking for in a couple, and we appreciate your taking the time to look at our site and read our letter. Hopefully, our web pages will give you a good sense of who we are.

We cannot wait to become parents! The two of us have dreamed of becoming a family with a child to love, who will add excitement to our lives every day. We know parenting will be the most rewarding job we will ever have, and we look forward to it more and more as we wait to begin that part of our lives together.

We have been married for six years, and known each other for seven. Colleen is energetic, creative, and friendly; Kurt is calm, caring, and laid-back. The two of us cherish our families and value friendships we have kept for years. We are both thoughtful and relatively organized people. The best part about our relationship is that we always have a great time together no matter what we are doing.

We rely on each other as best friends through everything, and we have gotten each other through many ups and downs of life already. After many failed attempts at having our own child, we have come to realize our given path to parenthood was MEANT to be adoption, and we are giving ourselves over to what God must have planned for us. We are a faithful, Catholic couple that wants nothing more than to live a happy, fulfilled life as a family, and we hope you are the birth mom we were meant to meet to help that happen!
Jobs/Personalities Both of us have jobs that match our personalities. Kurt likes the challenge of technology sales. He loves setting goals and striving to reach them. Competition energizes him and he is a real team-player who works well with his co-workers, having fun while working hard. He'd like to teach that skill to our son or daughter. In his office, Kurt is known to be reliable, humorous, and a big fan of casual Fridays.

Colleen always knew she wanted to be a teacher. She is happiest when working with children and helping them feel good about themselves. Colleen loves seeing the excitement on children's faces when they learn something new, and she cannot wait to have this thrill every day with her own child. Colleen is passionate about finding ways for children to build a love of learning and will put in extra hours to help any child who needs it. For the last ten years, she has taught Third Grade at a small independent school. Before then, she taught Second and Fourth Grade at both public and Catholic schools. She also teaches summer cooking classes for camp children ages 5-12. With her quick smile, enthusiasm and constant encouragement, you cannot help feeling positive energy around Colleen!

Both of us are active, athletic people. We grew up as competitive swimmers, and now in order to stay healthy and burn off the cookies Colleen likes to bake, we play tennis, ride bikes, run together, and ski. Our gentle 3 year old Weimaraner, Tully, encourages us to walk him several times a day, and we all look forward to evening strolls after dinner. Some of the ways we spend our free time include traveling to new places, working in our yard, going out for dinner, running road races, and watching movies. Kurt is a good golfer and a faithful follower of the Boston Red Sox. He is eager to teach our son or daughter how to play baseball and become a loyal fan, no matter what each season brings. He is also learning to play the guitar, even though he is a lefty! Colleen likes catching up with friends, reading books and magazines, gardening, and shopping. She enjoys making photo albums chronicling special visits for her nieces and nephews, and plans to make many for our son or daughter.
Home/Family Our home is in a safe, friendly New England town filled with big families, as well as strong history and traditions. Our street is quiet and our neighbors are kind and caring. We can walk to nearby parks and playgrounds, the town library, restaurants, schools, and shops. We have had fun landscaping our front yard and back yard and completing projects to upgrade our home. Visitors are always welcome and we love hosting cookouts on our back patio.

The two of us grew up in traditional family settings. We had loving parents, entertaining siblings, nightly dinners together, church on Sunday, and holidays spent with friends and relatives. Kurt has one older sister, who is married with two girls, ages 16 and 11. We love spending time with them and watching them grow up. Both girls are eager for a cousin and cannot wait for a baby in the family. Kurt's parents are filled with nonstop energy and are ready to be grandparents again!

Colleen's family is bigger then Kurt's. Although we are somewhat spread out geographically, everyone treasures getting together and visits are always wonderful. Colleen's mother is a loving grandmother with five young grandchildren already. She says, 'the more the merrier!' Colleen's father passed away three years ago and is sorely missed. The oldest of four children, Colleen loves being an aunt! She is especially close to her sister, who is married and has two daughters. One of her younger brothers is married with one daughter and two sons. Her youngest brother is an amazing Iron-man triathlete and an awesome uncle to all our nieces and nephews.
Parenthood/Contact Info As parents, we will encourage learning through fun experiences we have together, and teach our child the importance and responsibility of caring for others in our lives. Education is important to both of us, and we will offer our child all of the opportunities we can for an enriched and positive life. We also want our child to experience joy! We cannot wait to share stories at bedtime, borrow books from the library, ride bikes, go out for ice cream, celebrate birthday parties, and share all the activities we enjoyed growing up.

As a couple, we have gotten through life by looking at the bright side of whatever is thrown at us, and keeping faith in our decisions and dreams for the future. We hope you can see choosing us as a positive decision in your life, and know the special gift of your baby is our dream for the future. Your child will grow up knowing the adoption plan you made was done out of courage and love for them. We will cherish this baby forever and be so grateful for the chance you may give us to have our own family!

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. If you would like to know more about us, please call our home toll free number 1-877-742-2749 or email us at Send us a message. We are easy to talk to and we look forward to learning about you, too! We wish you a healthy pregnancy, strength and peace during this time. We are thinking of you and hope to hear from you soon. Please look at our album to learn more about our families and our life, we hope you'd want your baby to be a part of it!
Sincerely, Colleen and Kurt
