Hello! We are nervous and yet exceptionally excited as we put together this profile to share our lives with you. We realize you are making a courageous, love-filled decision to place your newborn for adoption. We want to give you an accurate description of; what kind of people we are, our values, how we live, and what we can offer as parents to your baby. After reading about us … it is our hope that you will want to get to know us even more and feel comfortable entrusting us to raise your child.

About Us Vince and I met in 1993 while working in Delaware. Vince was a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in New York, and I was studying for my CPA certification in Delaware. After a long distance courtship with many trips up and down the New Jersey Turnpike, we married in 1995. We decided to open our own accounting practice, and devoted time to developing it. Our commitment paid off, we now have a successful practice and the freedom to balance our careers with our personal time, and we enjoy every minute of it!

Soon after we were married we began “trying” to start our family, and soon found ourselves faced with infertility. After five years of looking to science for help, we’ve come to realize that our family is meant to grow through adoption and we couldn’t be happier!

We spend our leisure time playing tennis, hiking and traveling. We live near New York City and take advantage of the terrific restaurants, theatre and other cultural events the city offers. We like trying new things and consider ourselves adventurous; last year we tried 4-wheeling, fly-fishing, and cattle herding (yes, cattle herding)! This year we added zip-lining and rock climbing!

As first time parents we cannot wait to experience all the world has to offer with our future son or daughter.

About Vince (by Kathy) From the beginning, Vince has wowed me with his strength and devotion. He never lets anything get him down, and he is always there to lend a hand. He is gentle and loving, and has the ability to make me feel wrapped in a hug just by looking at me. He’s not afraid to let his inner child out, which makes exploring new things with him so much fun! He enjoys pop culture and doesn’t let a day go by without coming out with a funny movie quote or reference … he loves making people laugh out loud.

I have watched Vince as he has helped our niece with her math homework, and I see his knowledge and patience. He always makes sure she “sees” the problem and is able to work through it herself. He thrives on seeing others do well and will do anything to help someone. I know Vince will be a great father, and I know he can’t wait to help our own children with their homework!

Abount Kathy (by Vince) Kathy has been my best friend ever since we first started dating. When we first met I lived in the suburbs of New York City and she lived in Delaware. I drove over 200 miles each way for each date and it was worth it. Her love for me has been my greatest source of strength in life. I know that she will be a great mother. She combines her smarts and inner-strength with an enormous amount of love and compassion. Best of all she is the love of my life and I look forward to spending the rest of my life being a parent with her.
