Scott & Melanie are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Welcome to our profile. We are glad to have this opportunity to let you know more about us. We are a family of three looking to be more. We are so excited about adopting. We feel like our family has so much to offer. Thank you for your willingness to make these very important decisions. If you choose adoption, and choose to place with us, your baby will always know that this was a decision of love.
Scott is an Electrical Engineer and writes computer programs to test electronic equipment. He enjoys his work and is very thankful that it provides well for our family. Melanie is a homemaker and is very grateful not to work outside the home. It allows her more time to spend with Lee and to volunteer at his school. We are Webelos Den Leaders together. It has been so much fun doing the training together and getting to work with each other on our meetings. Lee is active in Scouting and is our den chief in our Webelos Den.

We enjoy spending time together as a family. We love reading, both on our own and as a family. It is fun to watch Lee read books to his younger cousins. We have many books in our home and visit the library quite a bit. We play games of almost all types, but especially enjoy role playing games, both pen and paper, and on the computer. We play them individually, and together as a family. We have three cats, Jaheira, Mildred, and Tuxie, and have a lot of fun playing with them. We enjoy learning more about them and other animals. One of Lee’s grandfathers is a Veterinarian, and lives in a rural community. Whenever we visit, he has something new to show Lee, like baby chicks, barn owls, or a new bird’s nest.
We are very blessed to be close enough to our extended family to see them frequently. Scott has 1 older sister and 2 younger brothers, and Melanie is the oldest of 9, with 3 brothers and 5 sisters. We have a lot of fun spending time with them and their families. We get together to celebrate special occasions, but more often, just to visit and play games. Our families are very excited about our adopting and look forward to having another child in the family and so are we.
