Justin & Natalie are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother, Hi! We are Justin, Natalie and Cayden. You are amazing for considering adoption for your child! We know you have great faith, courage, and that you are an unselfish person! We are thankful for this chance to let you get to know us a little, and we hope you will find peace and comfort as you go through this difficult time.

Our Love Story
When we were both 22 years old, we met at a church activity. Natalie’s mom challenged her to talk to three guys that night. Justin was one of them and he eventually asked her out. Natalie says: “We went to a long boring football game, but it wasn’t boring to me! Justin and I just seemed to click. We talked the whole time and found out that we had a lot of things in common. We planned our next dates of 4-wheeling, dancing, visiting flower gardens and going to see a play. Justin was pretty shy about dating. It took him two months to hold my hand - he says I was pretty patient with him.” We just loved being together - going to Jazz games, hanging out with our friends or just talking. We soon became best friends and we were married in 2001 - almost a year after our first date. Our friendship and love has continued to grow throughout our marriage. Our favorite song is “Forever and Ever Amen” by Randy Travis and we truly believe that is how our life together will be.

Why I love Justin
I was attracted to Justin because of his great personality. He is always considerate of others, is carefree, very understanding, and enjoys serving in our church. He makes the best cookies and loves to surprise me with flowers. He makes me laugh and always brightens my day. I love it when he sings to me. Justin makes me happy and makes me feel special. We tell each other everything. We are best friends! Now, seeing him as a father, I love him even more. He is a great dad to our son and enjoys wrestling with him and teaching him to play basketball. Justin has a good job that he enjoys, and I am so proud of his hard work to support us. We compliment each other very well and we learn from each other.

Why I love Natalie
From the very first time we met, I knew that Natalie was a lot different from other girls. Talking with her was so natural and easy. Her cute smile and her easygoing, cheerful personality was what first attracted me to her. She was a girl who seemed confident in herself and comfortable with who she was. Since we’ve been married, my love for Natalie has grown stronger and stronger. She is so unselfish, patient, and loving. Her devotion and faith in me have strengthened me so much. I feel so lucky and blessed that she’s my wife. Being parents also expands and deepens my love for my wife, more than I can describe and I know that my love for her will keep growing, whatever the future may bring. Natalie will always be my best friend!
Adoption In Our Lives We have experienced adoption in both our immediate and extended families. Natalie’s two brothers were adopted and Justin’s two cousins were adopted. We know what a blessing it is! As we began our new life together, we were excited to start our family! We both knew that adoption was in our future. Our son, Cayden, is our first miracle through adoption and was born in 2005. He has been a blessing to us and our families. We are very grateful to his birthmom and enjoy giving her pictures and DVDs of Cayden. We think of her everyday. Cayden knows who she is and we even made him a book called “The Cayden Baby Story” that has her picture in it. We know that our family is not complete and look forward to another miracle! Your child will know who you are and how special you are to us! You will not be forgotten!
Our Happy Home We were so excited when we bought our home in a wonderful, friendly neighborhood. Justin loves projects and went to work on tiling the bathroom, and redoing all the baseboards with cedar wood to give it a country feeling. We love our family room that is attached to the kitchen. It is nice to be able to watch Cayden play while we do the dishes. Cayden likes to help Natalie make dinner. He sits at the counter and stirs or pours ingredients into the bowl. When Justin comes home from work, he usually has “tickle time” with Cayden while Natalie finishes cooking dinner. It is nice to be in the same room together. Another room we love to sit in is the living room. We love to sit around the piano and sing songs. Cayden loves to pretend to play the songs and then tells us to sing. In the summertime, we love to have barbecues on the patio or run through the sprinklers with Cayden. We love gardening and have planted many different things such as corn, strawberries, lettuce, and peas. Cayden loves his swing set but he mostly loves digging in the dirt and helping Justin mow the lawn with his own toy lawn mower.

Our Families
We love to be with family! We live close to both of our families, and they are all very excited for our family to grow. Both sets of grandparents love to spoil their grandkids! They have so much love to share! They have grandparent day at least once a week or more with fun things like making bread, riding the tractor, or going to the park. They are our support when we are in a bind or need babysitters. Our families taught us core values like honesty, faith, serving others, and staying out of debt. We both know that we will follow the love and examples of our parents in raising our children. The most important thing to our family and extended family is our religion, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We both firmly believe that happiness in our marriage comes from our love and commitment to each other and to our Heavenly Father, who is the true source of all love.

Justin’s family
I was blessed with an awesome family! My parents taught me by example the importance of faith cooperation, understanding, and commitment. They have been married for over 30 years now. I am the oldest of 5 siblings - I have two brothers and two sisters. As we were growing up, we loved to have fun together! Although most of us are grown and married now, we get together as often as possible, usually for Sunday dinner. Each of my siblings are great examples to me. I also have a very close and supportive extended family! We still get together for barbecues and other fun occasions. They loved being a part of our first adoption with Cayden, and are very excited for us to add to our family again. I see all the great examples and love that make up my family, and it is this legacy that I plan on sharing with my children.

Natalie’s family
I have wonderful parents who have taught me so much and still do! When I was 6 and my sister was 4, my brothers came into our family through adoption. They are from Korea and were 12 and 13. Having brothers all of the sudden was a new experience, but also a blessing! We also had many foster children live with us through the years. We are still in contact with some of them today. My sister and I are very close. She loves being an aunt to our son. I love my family and am very grateful for their constant love and support.
