Paul & Rebecca are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Hi, We are Paul and Rebecca. Thank you for wanting to learn a little more about us. We are so excited about starting our own family and sharing our lives with a little one. We are thankful that you are considering adoption and have chosen to give your baby LIFE! You mean so much to couples like us who cannot have children on our own. We know this is a really tough decision and we admire your courage. Our prayers are with you and hope you discover what is best for you and your baby.

About Us…
When we first met, we discovered we knew so many of the same people and could not believe we had not met earlier in our lives. The timing must have been right. After talking and laughing for several hours, we realized we had a lot in common. The following weekend we had our first date and could not stop sharing stories. Two years later we were married in a beautiful outdoor wedding.

Our everyday life is very active with a wide variety of interests. Some of our favorite activities include doing projects around the house, gardening, walking around our neighborhood and just spending time together. We also enjoy cooking out on the grill, playing a variety of sports, going to outdoor concerts and volunteering.

The quality we love most about each other is our silliness. We love to make each other laugh and finding humor in whatever we do. We have even been known to play practical jokes or jump out and surprise each other. What makes us so good together is we have the same values and a great friendship. We always love giving lots of hugs and kisses to each other.

When we are not at home, we enjoy taking family vacations or traveling to new places both domestically and internationally. Each year, we take a family vacation to the beautiful “white sand” beaches of Florida. It’s a good time to relax and catch up with the people that mean the most to us. We look forward to a new addition to the family and sharing all of our family stories and other adventures.

Our Home…
Our home is located in a “kid friendly” neighborhood with lots of activities such as costume parties, neighborhood cookouts, and July 4th parades. Just around the corner from our house is a park with swings, a water playground, and tennis/basketball courts. A beautiful lake is nearby which also has a “dog park”!!! We are minutes away from great zoos, amusement parks as well as Science and Children’s Museums. It is important to us to have a welcoming home and love it when friends and family stop by.

About Rebecca… Rebecca is a beautiful, loving, caring, and passionate person. Most of all, she is FUN to be around!
From the first day we met, I thought we would be great together and ever since it’s been one adventure after another. She has an energetic personality and would do anything for anyone.
Her love for family, especially her siblings, is the source of her strength. She has a unique gift with children and, wherever we are, kids seem to be drawn to her. She will be an amazing mother and will use her creativity to provide an enriched life to any child. She is so good with our nieces and nephews…they get unbelievably excited to see her.

Currently, she sells healthcare services to large hospitals. She has a strong work ethic and has a great relationship with her customers. Her creative style and talent has helped her have great success.

Traveling with her is never a dull moment because she is not afraid of being silly, especially in front of the camera. She loves to laugh even at my stupid jokes or herself!

Rebecca is comfortable talking with anyone and has the great ability of getting to know them. People love her because she is always giving compliments and truly sees their best qualities.
About Paul… Paul is genuinely a sweet guy who is creative, smart, and has a GREAT sense of humor. His “quick wit” always makes me laugh and the more I laugh the more he tries to be funny.

Paul is going to be a wonderful father. What means so much to me is Paul will be a patient, affectionate Dad with our children. Paul has such a calm nature. I see him with our nieces and nephews and they love him. He plays games, reads them stories, and is silly with them.

Paul does very well in his career where he manages all aspects of a software development project. His customers really appreciate his extra efforts. His work is very important to him; however, he knows how to balance career and family.

For fun, Paul loves participating in many sports but his real passion is for soccer, which he has played since elementary school. He also loves to go camping, play volleyball, hangout with friends and read.

Paul’s children will be the highlight of his day!!!

Our Family…
We both come from large families. Between the two of us we have 20 nieces and nephews.

Our families have always been top priority and mean the world to us!!! We value how our parents raised us and want to carry that on with our children. They taught us to be self-sufficient, kind to others and have fun. We are excited to share the love and support that we each experienced as a child.

We look forward taking our child to Paul’s family during the winter so they can go sledding and play in the snow with their cousins. The Grandparents have an awesome garden with the best fresh vegetables. They look forward to teaching their grandchild how things grow.

Rebecca’s family lives only a few hours driving distance from us and visits often. Her two sisters actually live in our same city. At the Grandparent’s, there are so many outdoor things to do like swimming, boating and fishing. They will love taking their Grandchild to “Story Hour” at the library, creating art projects and building things.

Holidays and family traditions are a big part of our life. We enjoy playing games, having the nieces/nephews perform their latest talents. One of our favorite holiday activities is the “White Elephant” gift exchange at Christmas. It’s always a contest to see who can bring the most creative gift. Rebecca and her sisters still insist on Santa filling “Christmas Stockings” and leaving a footprint on the fireplace showing that Santa had been there.
In closing, we are so fortunate that adoption is available to us because we have anticipated for so long having family. Therefore, Rebecca will be a stay-at-home mother so she will not miss a minute of the “mommy” experience. As children, we both enjoyed playing with our siblings so much and we feel it is very important our child have their own brother or sister. Therefore, we plan on adopting again in the future.

Thank you again for learning a little about our lives and families. We hope you feel confident that we are going to be fun and loving parents. Your child will know how much you loved them and the tough decisions you were faced with. Trust that we will raise your child to be someone you would be proud of and hope you realize how much happiness you will be bringing to us. Your child will be in a safe environment, given every opportunity in life, and most importantly, very much loved.

We look forward to talking with you soon.

With Love,
Rebecca and Paul
