Robert & Maggie are hopeful adoptive parents from Michigan waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Mother,
We cannot imagine the decision you are faced with, but admire your bravery in making it.
We can promise to you that your child will be brought up in a home where they will never doubt their worth or question the love they are shown. We will share their adoption story with them and show them the incredible amount of love and courage it took for you to place them in our home. We would be proud to be the parents of a child who was blessed with a birth mother with so much strength and honor.
Your child will be raised with strong Christian values, unquestionable family ties, and a love that surpasses any other.
We pray for you, every day that you will be guided to make the right decision for you and your child. Should your decision be to place your child with us, we will be eternally grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to have a family of our own.
We are Maggie and Rob and we are so blessed and excited to begin our journey of adoption. We believe we are called to begin and grow our family through adoption and are thrilled to be given the opportunity to welcome your child into our home with all the love, warmth, and kindness you could possibly home for.
Rob and I met in September of 2001 just a few weeks after I moved from my hometown near Chicago, IL. We became fast friends and started dating about six months later. From the very beginning we knew we were a perfect match. We were happily married in June of 2005.
We both knew we wanted to start a family right away. Neither of us felt complete without a child to nurture and love. Rob and I discussed many options when we were advised that it would be difficult to conceive and felt that adoption is the way God intended for us to grow our family.
We invite you to take a peek into our lives to see what makes us who we are. We hope that you will see that we are blessed not only with each other, but with so much love and support from our families who are almost as anxious as we are to welcome a child into our arms and most importantly into our hearts.
Who is Rob?
Rob graduated in December of 2007 with a degree in Electronics Engineering from ITT. He worked very hard for two years, and it has paid off! He is now working in the IT department of a successful advertising agency and is loving his job.
Rob loves to fish and spend time in the outdoors; just as long as the weather cooperates! He loves all sports, but he loves football. His favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals. Every Sunday afternoon from August to December, Rob loves to watch the game and teach our nephews the finer points of the game. He loves movies and music and is incredibly proud of his CD collection.
Rob is the youngest of four and is incredibly close with his family. Rob is so full of life and love. He has a wonderful heart with an incredible capacity for kindness. He is so thrilled to become a father and experience the love of a child.
Who is Maggie?
Maggie is a sales representative for a large building materials manufacturing company. She has been with the company for nine years and her current position is what brought her to Michigan.
She loves to read and has already started creating a library for a very special child. She dreams of cuddling with a sleepy child and reading Goodnight Moon and The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Maggie's favorite animal is the giraffe and has a large collection of them. In her opinion there is no more goofier looking animal than the giraffe. She loves to sing and dance, no matter how crazy she might look doing it, and laughing is her favorite form of exercise.
Maggie is also the youngest of four and next to Rob considers her sister and mom her closest friends. She loves to spend time with her nieces and nephews. Being with family is what makes her whole. She has always know she would be a mother and believes that becoming a mother through adoption is God's greatest gift.
Who we are Together
We were both raised Catholic and firmly believe in a faith-based upbringing. Our strong connections to our families provide us with a wonderful foundation with which to build our marriage and our own family. We make each other laugh and we champion and support each other through all that life throws at us.
Spending time together is our favorite pastime. We love to curl up on the couch for a great movie, or take a drive on a beautiful afternoon. We love to travel and can't wait to create the wonderful memories that come with family vacations. Maggie is already dreaming of taking a child to Disney World, her favorite place on Earth.
Rob's Sunday morning banana pancakes have become one of our small traditions. We love to take small moments in our lives and celebrate the blessings they bring us.
We are both active members in the Michigan Junior Chamber, a volunteer community service organization. We have a wonderful network of friends and enjoy spending time with them at backyard bar-b-ques and Halloween parties.
Our Families
Most of Maggie's family still live in the Chicago area and we get back to see them every few months. We love to play games and listen to Grandpa play the piano. We have four nephews and three nieces and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new cousin. Maggie grew up very close to her own cousins and will continue that valuable relationship with the next generation.
Rob's family is local and we spend many Sunday afternoons at his mom's kitchen table. We have three nephews and a niece.
Our families are so very important to us. They have taught us to grow individually and as a couple by their examples
Our Home and Pet
We live in a four bedroom home with lots of room to grow a family. There is lots of room to play and we are close to parks, schools, and even an apple orchard!
Murphy, our Lab-Sheppard mix is a sweet, loving and tolerant dog who longs for a friend to throw a stick for her to fetch.
