Hello... Our names are Royce and Danáe.
We are truly thankful for your time to get to know us.

We recognize that your decision is not an easy one, and our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. We realize the complexity of your decision and admire your courage and strength in seeking this beautiful plan for your newborn’s future.

Adoption, a gift of love...
We believe that adoption is a gift, an act of love on everyone’s part, with the child’s best interest at heart, including their safety, security and happiness for the future.

Royce and I have always felt blessed to have one another and hope to be blessed with a child through adoption. We have always dreamt of becoming parents and believe that God has chosen adoption to fulfill our dreams. We always knew that we wanted to have a family of our own. After struggling with infertility for years, including two miscarriages, we decided that nothing would make us happier than to adopt a precious child. We are confident that we can provide a home filled with unconditional love, happiness, Christian values, financial security and quality educational opportunities.

Getting to know us... Royce and I met on a warm summer night in 1991 at a traffic light in our old neighborhood–we instantly became friends. It wasn't long before we realized that we were meant for each other. We were married on a beautiful sunny day in September 1997, surrounded by family and friends. Once a year on our anniversary, we watch our wedding video and relive that special day all over again.

We are a close couple and treasure the love we share and the time we spend together. We are best friends and share a strong, caring relationship built on love, trust, laughter and kindness. We always respect and support one another.

Being married nine years, we have built a solid foundation to raise a family. We have such a deep desire to become parents and can’t wait to share all our future experiences with a child.

OUR OCCUPATIONS
Both Royce and I have very fulfilling careers. We are fortunate to enjoy the work we do each day.

Royce attended college and received his certification as an Orthotist. He creates and designs braces and prosthetic limbs for people, specializing in Pediatrics. He has been at his current job since 1996. His job is very rewarding and he finds great joy and satisfaction in enabling people to live more productive lives.

I graduated college with a degree in Advertising Design in 1991. While in college, I worked for a Pediatrician as a receptionist and later as a medical assistant. My favorite part of the job was to make the children more comfortable and happy who were upset visiting the doctor.

Now, I work as a graphic designer/artist for a magazine publisher. I have been at my current job for over nine years. I enjoy my job and take pride in my accomplished work which is viewed internationally. Once the baby arrives, I will be a stay-at-home mother. Being a graphic designer may give me the opportunity to do free-lance work from the house.

OUR FAMILY
Royce and I both come from close-knit families with strong family values and Christian upbringings. Our family is a big part of our lives and we love sharing time together. We are fortunate that our parents live near by and we visit with them often. Everyone in our family is extremely supportive of our plan to adopt and are excited about us becoming parents. Adoption has played an important role in our family, we have a large extended family filled with lots of cousins, five of whom are adopted. We look forward to knowing that our families will be a major part of our child’s life and that your newborn would have an abundance of love, affection and caring. We are all excited and anxious to welcome a new addition to the family.

Royce and I have a beautiful Goddaughter Molly, who is 6-years-old. We spend a great deal of time with her and her older sister Mikayla, taking them to the park, roller skating, and horseback riding.

Special moments with our family and friends is a huge part of our lives. Holidays are a favorite time of the year for us, we especially look forward to Christmas dinner at our home with the entire family. We always look back on past gatherings with fond memories.

Our two cats, Kahlua and Crystal are an important part of our family, and are a pleasure to have. They are great with children and always love all the attention they receive from both Molly and Mikayla.

Royce and I share a strong sense of family values and traditions that have been passed down to us from our parents and grandparents which we look forward to continuing to pass down to our child.

INTERESTS
Royce is a real sports enthusiast, he loves playing most sports including hockey, softball and football. He has participated in many hockey and softball leagues through the years. His favorite sport to watch is Nascar racing.

Royce is a sponsored car driver for R/C racing. He builds and races 1/10 scale remote control cars at various tracks and has won more trophies than I can count. Some of Royce's fellow racers are children and they all look up to and admire him. Royce enjoys teaching others what he knows and is always willing to help someone. He assists the children at the track with building and painting their own R/C cars and offers them lots of car handling advice.

Another favorite hobby Royce enjoys is playing the guitar. His brother Darrin, who plays in a band, taught Royce how to play and they often have fun playing together.

Some of my personal interests include photography, decorating and party planning. One of my greatest passions is taking photographs. My favorite subject is Molly, our beautiful Goddaughter, who is a great model and always stays perfectly still while I adjust the camera for just the right picture.

We both love the beautiful outdoors and always incorporate outdoor activities on our vacations. Also, we enjoy sight-seeing and learning about the history, culture and architecture of the places we visit. Our favorite place to visit is Italy, where we can explore our family's heritage.

Our Home... We live in a spacious private home located in the beautiful suburbs of New York. Royce and I have lived here since we were married. Our house is located on a quiet street in a wonderful family-oriented neighborhood where there are lots of families with young children. We are situated in a highly regarded school district, surrounded by beautiful parks and are a short drive to the beach.

We have a large fenced in park-like backyard with plenty of room to play, lots of flowers and trees, a pool and a gazebo where we have an occasional breakfast or dinner. Our home is the meeting place for most of our family gatherings. We enjoy entertaining, filling it with lots of family, friends and fun every chance we get. Once a year we have a huge end of summer party in our backyard; last year we had a Luau.

While we enjoy all the wonderful sights and recreational activities in our neighborhood, living just outside of Manhattan, we also enjoy all that NYC has to offer. We like to visit the museums, theater's, historical landmarks and the vast variety of restaurants often.

Our Promise to you... In looking ahead, it is our plan to give the child we are blessed with a fulfilling life and bright future. We will be loving, devoted parents, giving our child a lifetime of unconditional love, support and guidance. We will always encourage them to pursue their dreams and strive to reach their goals.

Children have always been a big part of our dreams for the future and we hope and pray daily for this blessing. A precious child would greatly enhance our lives, and we look forward with anticipation to experience all the joys and responsibilities of parenthood.

It is important for us to tell our child how their birthmother loved and cared enough to make a thoughtful plan for their future. They will be raised feeling proud of who they are and always know that the decision you made was one of love, the greatest gift.

Royce and I would be honored and humbled to be chosen as parents for your newborn. We promise to always love, cherish and care for your newborn giving them all the wonderful opportunities that we can offer. Please know that we will cherish forever this gift of love.
