Ken & Julie are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparents
First, we want to thank you for giving life to your baby. It’s a courageous thing for you to choose adoption for him or her.
Although we have many important things to share with our children, the most important is a strong loving marriage which will provide a solid foundation and set a good example of a loving relationship for our children.
Our home and our hearts are ready to accept the precious gift of more children.
We cherish the old fashioned family lifestyle, with Julie at home as a full time Mom and Ken working. We enjoy the traditions from our own upbringing; dinner as a family every night and catching up on the days events; Saturday afternoons working and playing around the house and enjoying lunch together as a family; Sunday morning Mass with afternoon walks in the woods; bedtime stories and festive holidays filled with family and friends - the simple things in life.
We can’t wait to have our family grow! We both come from large families, and family is the most important thing to us. Our next child will have a big sister named Maggie, a brother John, a Grandma, two Great Aunts, 32 Aunts and Uncles, and 23 first Cousins right off the bat! But most of all, this child will have a Mom and Dad who will embrace him or her with strong and loving arms.
How it began and where it has gone
Our story together began 19 years ago when we were both riding bikes along the Chicago lakefront. We quickly became best of friends and had so much fun and so much in common that we couldn’t help fall in love.
Ken likes reading, staying physically fit, browsing through a music store, or working in the yard. Julie loves being a mom but also enjoys the outdoors; whether it’s working in her flower garden or going for a walk. But we enjoy most our family time together with Maggie and John; going to the park, swimming, cooking, listening to music, playing a board game, or taking our dog Buddy for a walk; our cherished family time.
Ken describes Julie as “…the love of my life”, “…the most cheerful person I know”, “…she makes me laugh”. “She is a great mother”. Julie fell head over heals for Ken and describes him as her “…best friend”. “He is a great listener, honest, genuine, a wonderful daddy, and a man of strong beliefs”.
Maggie is a typical four year old girl. She loves music, dancing, and school. Cinderella, the Swan Lake Ballet, wearing silly hats, gloves, and dresses are some of her favorite things to watch and do. Johnny is a big hearted boy just like his daddy. He’s so gentle with Maggie and loves to help his mommy in the kitchen and garden. He already loves sports - baseball, football, and basketball. Maggie and Johnny are very loving children, and they can’t wait to have another baby in our family.
We both value community service. Some of the organizations for which we have volunteered are; The Muscular Dystrophy Association, DARTS -a senior citizen support organization, Special Olympics, and the Twin Cities to Chicago AIDS Ride. We look forward to sharing these kinds of activities with our children.
Our Home
We have a beautiful four-bedroom home in suburban Chicago. Our neighborhood has lots of families of all ages, with many (50+) children to run and play with. We have a fenced-in back yard with giant tree swings, a play set, and beautiful flower gardens. There are four parks within walking distance from our home, and whenever possible we set out on foot for an adventure.

Good luck in choosing an adoptive family for your baby and thank you for considering us.
Warmly,
Ken and Julie
