ABOUT US
We met while in college and un-expectedly took hold of one another’s hearts and didn’t let go. We share a true connection with one another. We dated for 4 years and were married on a beautiful fall day in 1999. The past eight years have been an amazing journey, and with each passing year, we discover new joys of being married.

We are a very adventurous couple who enjoy a variety of activities. We love to travel and learn about the places around us. We attend church regularly as a couple. Our favorite thing to do is spend time with our families. Both sets of families live in the area, and we visit often enjoying meals and family entertainment.

We have a loving miniature schnauzer named Toby. He is our best buddy. He enjoys walks and loves to cuddle. Toby always waits until he is “invited” to jump into your lap or onto the couch. Toby is a very kind and gentle dog. He loves people! Toby is a true companion who loves unconditionally.

ABOUT MARK When I saw Mark, I saw love. Mark is the most wonderful man I know. The kindness and abundance of love he has shown me through our years of our marriage have been immeasurable. Mark lives life to the fullest. He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors, and any activity that allows him to be outdoors. I look at Mark and see my future. In his arms I see our children, in his smile I see years of friendship and laughter, and in his voice I hear comfort. Mark is my rock, and I know that as long as I anchor myself to him I will be safe.

ABOUT MELISSA Melissa is my brown-eyed girl. In her brown eyes I see a never ending desire for love and life. When Melissa smiles you see a ray of light shining straight from her heart. Melissa has an extremely optimistic attitude, everything will be alright. To her, what happens was all meant to be, it all happens for a reason. The sun shines everyday for Melissa; clouds don’t get in her way. Melissa gives me everything my heart desires, but most of all she shares my dreams. Melissa is my refuge; she is my place of understanding, grace, forgiveness, and love.

We were a couple starting out at the beginning of this journey, never dreaming of the obstacles we would face trying to create a family. If given the chance to do things differently in our lives, you would find us hand and hand at the beginning with one another ready to live life exactly as we have lived it. We wouldn’t change a thing because with all life has dealt us, we wouldn’t be who we are today without the trails and tribulations we have conquered as individuals and together as a couple.
