THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading our letter and for considering us as adoptive parents! Our names are Danielle and Brian and we are very excited to start our family through adoption. We can only imagine how overwhelming and difficult this process must be for you. You are incredibly courageous to have even made it this far! Choosing to give your child a life of love, stability, support and opportunity, to a couple who are unable to have children of their own is an amazing gift. Our hope and promise to you is to make the experience as smooth as we possibly can, taking your thoughts and feelings into account every step of the way. If you would like to learn more about us we'd love to hear from you!

Growing up, we lived in the same neighborhood near a beach on the north shore of Long Island, New York. Danielle's family moved from New York to Virginia while we were in High School and after 10 years apart we "re-met" and became a couple in 1998. Four years later we married in 2002.
Our lives are active but uncomplicated. We often find ourselves reflecting on how lucky we are to have what we consider to be the most basic and important things in life covered: love, happiness, health, family and each other. Bringing a child into our lives and starting our own family has been a dream we've been pursuing for the past 4 years.
We enjoy being outside, getting together with family, and watching movies. We also love to travel and experience new places and activities. We always try to approach each day with a sense of humor and love to play around and laugh (usually at ourselves!). Our motto is, “enjoy yourself!” and that is what we try to do everyday.
Danielle enjoys running, hiking, cooking, reading, hosting parties, and entertaining family and friends. After working in finance while putting herself through college, she left the business world to pursue a career in nursing and to fully concentrate on the adoption. During this time she is also volunteering at a local soup kitchen and taking care of the bookkeeping at Brian's company. Growing up in a large family and working as a nanny in her early twenties, Danielle has developed a loving and patient attitude. Danielle plans on being a stay-at-home mom when the baby comes. She is excited to watch the world unfold through the child's eyes and to learn from them through their experiences.
Brian enjoys music, movies, and sports. Through his hard work he has been able to build a successful video production company that enables him to enjoy the independent lifestyle of a small business owner. Brian is also wholeheartedly looking forward to being a father! Among many things, he's excited that the flexibility of being a small business owner will enable him able to be present for fun events like school plays, trick-or-treating, sports games or the random afternoon in the neighborhood park.
FAMILY:
Danielle is one of nine children whose names all begin with “D”. Their ages currently range from 22 – 37. She is the fourth child in the family. Brian has one older sister. To date we have 12 nieces and nephews ranging from newborn to 12 years old. We are very close with, and spend lots of time with our siblings and their families at our home and up-and-down the East Coast in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida (as well as with Danielle’s sister in Seattle when we can), and enjoy a “beach week” every July in Delaware, New Jersey, or New York with Danielle’s entire family. Everyone in our family is very happy for us and extremely supportive in our decision to adopt!
BELIEFS:
We were both raised in homes with loving and supportive parents and are fortunate to both have parents who are still happily married after close to 40 years. Their love and commitment is an inspiration to us. As parents we plan to raise our children in a loving, supportive environment that encourages personal values, acceptance of others, and a desire to learn. We believe it’s important to encourage children to pursue their own interests and talents with our role being to support, protect, guide, encourage and more than anything else, to love them!
