MARK & SUSAN Dear Birth Parent(s)

Hello. We are Susan and Mark and we are so grateful to be considered as the adoptive parents of your child. We are not sure we could ever fully understand and appreciate just how hard the decision you are making has to be. But what we are sure of is our belief that you and I were meant to meet each other. We feel that the gift of a life is the greatest gift that any one person could give to another to is not able to have a child on their own. We are ready and feel certain that adoption is the path for us. We hope very much that you will read our story and that you will have the confidence and most importantly the comfort of knowing that we will devote our future to being loving, safe, happy and financially secure parents to your child.

We hope that the words and photos in this profile give you an idea about who we are, our beliefs and our love that we share with our family and friends.
Falling In Love Wife, Husband - Best Friends

Sometimes when a husband and wife say they are also “best friends” it can sound kind of corny but we guess that it’s just no use trying to come up with a better way to describe our relationship. We have been married for 15 years and there is no question we are indeed best friends and much much more. We first met at a group dinner during Christmas Week and had our first official date on New Years Eve where we went to a Polish restaurant that was closing the next day for good. Since we are both of Slavic backgrounds we took that as an omen of great things to come.

Thankfully it was. Susan was living and working in Japan at the time and was home for the holidays to visit her parents. Lucky for me, she was able to stay get a few extra weeks to stay in the US and we both fell head over heels in love with each other. When Susan did go back to Japan we kept in constant contact via telephone and letters.(No email or text messaging then) Sometimes our phone bills were larger than our monthly rent, but of course, it didn’t matter.

We were married 2 years later and continue to have a deep and always growing love for each other. We thought at some point that our love for one another would peak, but in fact, it grows and stronger. We never ever take our love for granted. Unfortunately we haven’t been lucky to conceive a child of our own.

Despite all we have been blessed with, we know, without a doubt, that sharing it all with children would be the the greatest blessing of all. And honestly, it’s sometimes very hard on both of us knowing that we have so much to give and are not able to. Luckily we have a huge family and terrific friends, 4 who have also adopted children. Mark has 5 sisters and 2 brothers and 14 nieces and nephews. Susan has one brother and cousins galore. We are close with many of our siblings and have a blast visiting each other in all parts of the country…Michigan, California, Florida, Nevada and New York.

About Us We love to travel and do so as much as possible. We are strong believers in America and despite the many beauties of the world we love nothing more then returning to our own country and are always thankful for what it represents.

SUSAN IS JUST THE GREATEST. Not only is she the most beautiful girl on the planet but she is full of immense love and caring. She has a great and giving heart. She grew up in NY State but spent 4 years in Japan as a child, where her father worked at the time. She loved it so much that she went back there after college and lived for another 4 years. She speaks and writes Japanese fluently. She is a big kid at heart and never takes things too seriously. She still loves to dress up(big time) and has the shoe collection to prove it. Apart from her true and number one desire to be a mom, she has an enormous love of animals. She is a “mom” magnet to so many of our nieces/nephews and friends’ children.

MARK…MY HUSBAND MY HERO. When I was growing up, I looked upon my father the same way, strong, compassionate, honorable and kind – a true gentleman. And I was fortunate enough to marry a man with those exact same attributes, the attributes that I consider the mark of a real man. It never ceases to make me proud when someone comes up to me, perhaps someone who worked for Mark in the past and say, “I love your husband, I miss him, he always treated me so well, he really cared”. He worked his way up to CEO of a huge company and thought of everyone as equals. I’d love to watch him with his employees, treating them with the utmost respect, a friendly joke, an arm around the shoulder, a query about their family. He is generous and compassionate, never ignoring someone who needs help, even anonymously paying a bill for a family sitting next to us in a vet’s office who was heartbroken over their injured pet. We love the same things, animals, books, culture, travel, home, family and faith in God.

One of the things that always struck me is Mark’s unique connection to children. They are immediately drawn to him. He has endless patience and it comes so naturally to him. He never tires of the time he spends playing with a child. He respects them and what they have to say. He respects their feelings. They all absolutely adore him. He will be an amazing father. And I know for certain that whoever that child will be, they will look upon Mark as their hero too!
Our Home OUR PROMISE TO YOU

After living and working in Pennsylvania and Florida for several years we settled into our home in the New York suburbs six years ago. Since moving “home” our house has become the central hub for our families and many of our extended family of friends. Since Mark now has his own business he is able to spend a lot of his time with me, working from his home office. Our house, pictured on the left, was built over 100 years ago and has been renovated with all modern plumbing, electricity, etc. There’s 3 acres of property and a beautiful swimming pool. We’ve already planned on how to childproof it, of course!

Please know that we will provide the very best home for your baby. Should you choose us, your child will be loved deeply and will have a completely devoted mother and father, a large and loving extended family, including 4 adopted children of our cousin and friends...and a great home. We will travel together, instill family traditions, give spiritual guidance, offer a terrific education and provide unconditional love and support. We would be blessed and thrilled to adopt your baby!
