Mike & Meg are hopeful adoptive parents from New York waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birth Parents, Thank you so much for reading our profile today and learning more about us! We are so grateful for you for the difficult decisions you are making, and we are thrilled that you want to learn more about us.

We hope that as you read this profile that you will see that we will provide a loving and supportive home for your baby. We have been together for almost 20 years, and in that time, we have an overwhelming desire to become parents. We both come from large and loving families, who have taught us so much about the importance of family. They taught us about living a life of service to each other and our community, about the value of education, and about always being there for each other through good times and bad ones. Those are some of the values that we will work hard to instill.

Mike talks about Meg … Meg and I met when we were working for the same company and her boss introduced us. He told me that Meg was the perfect girl for me, and was he ever right! We have had so much fun with each other since the day we met. Meg is an inspiration to everybody she meets or works with. She is a role model to women who work with her, and she is the most thoughtful person I’ve ever met. Every birthday, anniversary, and holidays is remembered with a card, a note or a gift.. All our godchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends’ children love to spend time with her. She always has time to tell them a story or listen to whatever they want to talk about and she always find that perfect gift or finds just the right thing to say. Meg talks to her mom every day, and we spend a lot of time with her large family.

I can’t wait to see the sparkle in her eyes when this miracle of adoption comes true for us. Meg has recently made the big decision to leave her job to focus full-time on motherhood. She’ll be a great mom!

Meg talks about Mike… Mike is a successful entrepreneur and runs a company he started in 2001 that has over 35 employees. His office is close to home, so is always nearby if something needs to get done around the house. Mike spends his time doing a lot of fun things, including running, fly fishing (he’s a beginner, but talks like an old pro!), and golf. I am trying to learn the game also (frustrating!). We try to play golf together after church on Sundays. He’s also a GREAT cook and helped design our new kitchen!

Mike also owns several thoroughbred horses, so we often go to the racetrack to see them run. It is so much fun to be around these beautiful animals. Also, Mike is very involved in our community as an elected official, and as an active member of the board of directors of a community medical center that helps uninsured people get medical and dental care.

About our home and neighborhood… Our neighborhood is friendly, quiet, and beautiful, with a mix of older homes (ours was built in the 1920s), and newer ones. We have a lot of young families close by. Our neighbors are all really excited about welcoming a new baby to the neighborhood!

We have a five bedroom home with lots of room for a family to grow. The yard is fenced in, providing a safe place for children to play. We are close to excellent schools, shopping, great recreation, and church. We get the best of all four seasons, with bright springs, warm summers, vibrant autumns, and snow-filled winters. We spend a lot of time outdoors, playing golf, walking, and biking, and the trails around our neighborhood are amazing and always full of families enjoying the outdoors.
