Shawn & Jennifer are hopeful adoptive parents from Wisconsin waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother: A respect for life is the common bond that brings us together. We want to thank you for giving your child the ultimate gift of life, and for considering adoption. We admire your bravery, generosity, and unselfishness. We can only imagine the strength of character it takes to make such an important decision. After reading this letter, we hope you will feel comfortable with us, knowing how much we yearn to share our lives with a child. If you choose us as the adoptive parents we would be forever grateful.
We are writing this letter to tell you a little about the two of us, our families and the kind of life we can offer your child. We hope that by sharing our information, your decision will be as easy, comfortable, and informed as possible. With an open, honest dialogue between us, we know we could make your dreams for your baby come true. God bless you as you begin this journey.

About Us…
Our names are Jennifer and Shawn and we are a young married couple who have known each other since we were kids. Our relationship is based firmly on love, lifelong friendship and shared values. We were both raised Catholic and religion plays an important role in our lives. We have known each other for so long that we each know what the other is thinking. We share equally in all that we do, supporting one another, and making important decisions together.

…More About Us:
We own a boat and spend every weekend we can at the lake, boating with family and friends. When we aren’t boating we enjoy taking short road trips in our Mustang. These trips involve heading North to our family’s cabin, camping in the great outdoors, or spending time on the Mississippi river.
In Shawn's Words... About Shawn:
In many ways, I am a big kid at heart. I enjoy spending time with my wife, surrounded by nieces, nephews, family and friends. I look forward to becoming a dad and giving my time, attention, and love to a child. I am thirty-seven years old and work in the insurance industry. I have a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration. Growing up, I enjoyed school, several close friendships, and I had a strong desire to succeed. Although I’m not an expert on what it takes to be a great father, my dad has been a perfect role model. The most important things in my life are my faith, marriage, family and friends. I enjoy sports, reading, cooking, and at home projects. I enjoy volunteering as a Big Brother through a program in our area.
I grew up in a small Wisconsin town on the shores of Lake Michigan. We now live in the country with our two cats and a big backyard with plenty of room for a swing set. It is a safe neighborhood, filled with kids of all ages. I’ve always felt that the country is a great place for a child to grow and flourish.

Shawn on Jennifer:
Jennifer is an incredible wife and will make a wonderful mother. She comes from a large, close-knit family that means everything to her. Early in our marriage, we began talking about our desire to raise children together. Jennifer has helped me to become the man I’ve always known I could be. She has a way of shaping the lives of those around her for the better. She constantly gives of herself to others. She baby sits her brother’s four kids regularly and is the best aunt any child could ask for. I know that Jennifer will raise our child with endless love and compassion.
In Jennifer's Words... About Jennifer:
Since I was a young adult, I have dreamed of being a mother. I learned at an early age that I would never be able to have children biologically. I believe that God chose this path for me so that I could reach out to you and offer my love, support, and family to your child.
I am thirty-five years old and have a college degree in accounting. I work for a company that provides payroll, administrative, and funding services to temporary agencies. I grew up in a very large family. My mother has four siblings and my father six. I have a younger brother and sister, four nieces and nephews and twenty-six first cousins. Amazingly, all four of my grandparents are still alive. Almost all of us live within thirty minutes of each other and get together often. As for my interests, I love animals, boating, and camping. My priorities are taking care of my husband and our home.

Jennifer talks about Shawn:
Shawn is a very easy man to love. He is compassionate, caring, supportive and unselfish. He is very optimistic and always trying to better himself. Shawn is also a hard worker striving to provide a secure future for our family. I know that Shawn will make a wonderful father. He has a big heart, a playful nature and a lot of love to give a child.
Shawn’s family is spread out geographically. His mother has five siblings and his father three. He has one grandmother, an older sister, and a niece. His parents are the only ones living in Wisconsin, about twenty minutes from us. His sister and her family live in South Carolina and the others live in Upper Michigan and Illinois.
Our Promise to You: Our thoughts and prayers go out to you as you make this extremely difficult decision. You can be confident that we will keep all of the promises we make to you. We are very comfortable with an open adoption, including staying in touch with you over the years. We promise to raise your child with unconditional love in a safe and caring environment. We’ll provide him or her with good Christian values and plenty of guidance. Our dream is to become a family, and make a difference in the life of a child. Thank you for considering us and giving us this chance to realize our dream.
We would love to hear from you and get to know you better. Please call us anytime toll free at 1-888-211-3786 or Send us a message. You are also welcome to contact our adoption counselor, Tobi Ehrenpreis at 1-800-869-1005. Whatever you decide, we wish the best for you and your baby.

With Sincere Admiration,
Jennifer and Shawn
