Myan & Ana are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent, Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know our family a little better. Adoption is a wonderful gift and we know that this is made possible through your bravery and thoughtfulness. We admire the love you have for your baby and your selflessness and courage in choosing an adoption plan. Even though we have never met, we pray you may find comfort in your decision and feel our Heavenly Father's love.
Our Story The two of us met in a college class and quickly became best friends. We were unseperable and were best friends before we even dated. A short "courtship" later and we knew we were meant for each other. Now in our 13th year of marriage it seems like yesterday that we met and fell in love!

Our fairy tale love story came with some challenges in growing our family. After many years of heartache, failed fertility treatments, and being diagnosed as unexplained infertility, we turned to adoption. Our adoption process was incredible as we were chosen by Mikaela’s birthmother early on and Ana was fortunate to be involved in almost all of the doctor’s visits. In 2008, we were blessed with our little miracle. She was born a few weeks early just in time for Daddy's birthday.

The sacred, tender feelings surrounding the arrival of our precious baby and the love we have for her birthmother and family were greater than anything we have experienced. We have a tremendous amount of love and respect for them and have developed a special relationship that will last forever.

Being parents to Mikaela has been an incredible gift. We have taught Mikaela about her adoption and the love her birth family has for her. We want our future children to know of their adoption as well and will teach them how unique they are and help them know about the selfless act that brought them into our lives.
About Our Family About Myan by Ana

Myan is the third of nine children. He was born in Washington State where he lived until age 12. He works very hard for our family and can acomplish anything he sets his mind to. He enjoys playing basketball several times a week with his friends, working on various woodworking projects, and spending time with our family. Myan has a close relationship with his parents and siblings and we get together often during the year for our "mini" reunions.

He can make me laugh at just about anything, including myself. He sees the best in everyone and everything and I can't help but smile everytime I talk about him. He has many traits that I admire and I am constantly amazed at how lucky I am. One of these traits is his special connection with children. Right from the start, Myan and Mikaela have had a special connection and bond that makes my heart melt.

Myan is a wonderful Daddy and loves spoiling little Mikaela even though he won't admit it. We are lucky that he has a very flexible work schedule and we can spend a lot ot time together. He especially enjoys his weekly Daddy - Daughter day doing whatever fun activities they can while not getting into any mischief... He is a kid-at-heart, generous, patient, kind, sincere husband, father, and best friend.

About Ana by Myan

Ana was born in Venezuela, South America and moved to California when she was six. She quickly learned English and was teaching her mother before she was eight. She learns fast and loves to try new challenges all the time. She has one brother 8 years younger than her whom she loves to call her "little big brother" since he is much taller. Her parents still reside in California and they get together as often as possible.

While growing up she played many sports and played competitively in high school and college where we met and became college sweethearts. Aside from sports, she enjoys quilting, crafting, cooking, baking, and making most anything handmade. She is always designing a new quilt project, finishing one or giving one away. Ever since our little Mikaela was born she has been making her one of a kind dresses and sometimes matching ones for special occasions. For Mikaela's 3rd birthday she designed and made over Mikaela's room into a pink and purple princess room along with her very own princess quilt. It was quite the project! Her room is our favorite room in our home.

Ana is a great mother and makes the best of any situation . She loves teaching Mikaela and being a stay-at-home mom. She hopes to teach our children by example and provide the tools they need to face any situation. Her enthusiasm for life and her desire to make life better and easier for others has been a source of strength for me. I have never met anyone who enjoys doing things for others as much as she does. She is truly my best friend and I am looking forward to raising our family together.
About Mikaela by Mommy and Daddy

Mikaela is an outgoing, sociable four year old. She has endless energy that spreads to everyone that she is around. She loves making friends, playing outside, music, books, going to Daddy's work, being outside in any weather, spending time with our extended family, watching our friend's dog, and shopping to name a few. She has a charismatic, lovable and infectious personality. She makes everyone smile and happy to see her all the time.

She is a creative "song writer" as she often creates new versions to her favorite songs. She loves being an entertainer and is a very good little actress. She has been a fan of country music since we can remember and will tell us the artist's name when she hears them on the radio! Mikaela is constantly amazing us!

We love to watch Mikaela grow, help her discover her talents and learn about the world around her. She is Daddy's little girl and Mommy's little angel.

She is very excited to become a big sister and can hardly wait. She makes drawings and sets aside toys for her new brother or sister all the time. When asked if she wanted a little brother or sister, she replied: "I want both!"

We know that our little family was meant to grow through the beautiful gift of adoption. We look forward to the day that we are able to share these experiences with another child. We are excited for the opportunity to learn more about you and build a relationship.

Kindly,

Myan, Ana and Mikaela
