Andy & Becca are hopeful adoptive parents from Georgia waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Congratulations!
We're Adopting a Boy.

Meet Andy & Becca Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We are incredibly grateful for your willingness to consider adoption as the most loving choice for your child. We can not even begin to imagine how difficult this time must be for you. We are praying for you even now and have been praying for you for months before we knew anything about you. We trust God will give you the courage and strength to make the right decisions for you and for your child in the days ahead. We know you love your child deeply, and we will always let your child know about that great gift of love you gave them by choosing adoption.

We are a loving family of two who can’t wait to become a family of three! Your child will be welcomed with more love than we can describe. We are eager to love a baby boy or baby girl. This baby will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, and our families couldn’t be more excited. We also have a wonderful church family and friends who will instantly embrace this baby with lots and lots of love and a strong support system.

We hope to give you a small picture of our life and the future of hope and joy we can offer your child. We feel there is no greater and no more important job than that of a parent. We will strive to help our child gain wisdom, experience happiness, develop confidence, and we will promise to nurture them through life’s entire journey.
Why We Want to Adopt We believe adoption is the perfect way to form a family, and we feel called to adopt. We have many friends who have adopted and have really enjoyed taking care of our two adopted cousins. Your child will always know that he or she is adopted and that you loved him or her so very much that you gave them the gift of adoption. We trust that God has a perfect plan designed to grow our family, and we will wait on that perfect timing and situation.

All About Us We met on Becca’s first day of graduate school while we were both working on our Masters Degrees. We went on our first date a week later. We dated for several months and knew pretty quickly that it was a perfect match. We spent many hours talking and finding out about one another’s dreams and goals for life. Andy proposed after a week-long series of daily gifts. He got down on one knee and asked Becca if she’d marry him. We rushed home, driving many hours and late into the night, during the week of midterms to tell our families the exciting news in person. We planned our dream wedding and were married five months later. Our family and friends gathered at a beautiful outdoor garden to celebrate with us. For our honeymoon we went on our first cruise. We had such a fantastic experience that we’ve cruised for our anniversary every year since!

Our favorite thing to do is to travel – whether that is traveling to see family, taking day trip to new places near home, or relaxing on vacation. In the past few years we’ve been to England, France, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Belize, and Ecuador.

Becca is a detailed-oriented planner who loves children. She grew up in several areas of Georgia – from small towns to large suburbs and sees the benefits each has to offer. In college she studied child development, fashion and interior design, housing and consumer economics, and foods and nutrition. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. She taught high school Parenting and Nutrition for one year and has tutored many ESL students. She graduated with her Masters of Divinity and is now a Preschool and Children’s Minister working with families and children from birth to fifth grade. Every day her work is a total joy! From coordinating Vacation Bible School, Easter Eggstravaganzas, and Fall Festivals to writing creative drama productions, developing missions projects and special events for kids, the children she works with are a pure delight. She can’t wait to have her own child to be a part of all of these family oriented activities. She lived in Australia and South Africa while in college. She loves decorating, playing piano and guitar, watching movies, shopping and spending time with family. She is looking forward with anxious anticipation the day when she holds her child in her arms and becomes “Mommy”.

Andy is a fun-loving, out-going, active worker who strives to serve others. He grew up in a medium-sized college town in Georgia. In College he studied management, marketing, accounting, finance and economics and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He worked as a Middle School Minister for five years while in seminary. He received his Masters of Divinity and now works as a Youth and College Minister. He says he enjoys his job too much for it to be considered work. Spending time with youth and college students, teaching Bible studies, leading camps, retreats and mission trips are all highly enjoyed parts of his job. In college he served as a summer missionary youth minister for a church in coastal Georgia. He was a cross country runner in high school, and now he tries to play volleyball at least once a week and enjoys an occasional game of basketball, softball, golf or ultimate Frisbee. He loves working with his hands, leading drama, playing Sudoku and PS2 and spending time working in the yard. He can’t wait to gently toss a young toddler in the air and hear the squeals of delight as that child says, “Do it again, Daddy!”

We are very close to both of our families. Becca is the oldest of three children and talks with her parents and siblings almost every day. Andy is the youngest of two children, and his family lives only a couple of hours away. We have many family traditions and spend many special times together celebrating.
Our Life Because we work together, we get to see each other throughout the day, partner on many special events and eat lunch together daily. We work regular office hours but have every Thursday completely off to spend as a family. Our Wednesdays and Sundays are filled with church activities for families, children and youth. Our future child will attend the preschool just a few steps down the hall from Becca’s office several hours a day and have an in-home nanny during the other few hours for a perfect child care combination. We will be able to see him or her throughout the day.

Our home is a three bedroom, two and a half bathroom brick in a fantastic neighborhood with lots of children. We have a large family room and an upstairs bonus room where we spend a lot of time relaxing, watching movies, playing games and working on projects together. We're in the process of finishing the most beautiful nursery - complete with beautiful cherry furniture, a jungle (for a boy) or butterfly (for a girl) bedding theme, and a rocking chair for many hours of cuddling.

Andy and Becca love life, love fun and have lots of love for a new baby!
We believe everyday is a new opportunity – so we try to make the most of each day!

Thanks for getting to know us. We'd love to talk with you! We are praying for you and your child every day.
