Cameron & Cindy are hopeful adoptive parents from Alabama waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother, We cannot even begin to tell you how grateful we are for your willingness to “get to know us” through this letter. We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to adopt, and can’t wait to find the little one that is looking for our family!

We first met when we were sixteen years old, but didn't start dating until college. We were married shortly after college, and have now been married for four years. We have loved traveling together, and just experiencing life together.

When we first learned that we could not have children on our own, we immediately became excited for the opportunity to adopt and see our family start to grow! Our extended family is also excited for us and adoption. We both have cousins who are adopted and we love and adore them.

In 2006, were were blessed by adoption, and we have one little boy, Scott. He is a great joy to our lives, and we will forever be grateful to a brave and loving birthmother who entrusted her son to our care. She is so close to our hearts. The adoption process has been a wonderful blessing for our family.

We both grew up in households where education, creativity, honesty, kindness and generosity were all very important. We will raise our children with those same core values. In addition to teaching them right from wrong, we will also encourage them to work hard and be kind to others.

Cindy There are so many things that I like to do! What I love best is to spend time with my family! Some of my other hobbies and interests include watching and playing sports (especially softball and tennis), exercising, scrapbooking, oil painting, and photography. I really enjoy cleaning and organizing, too. Music is also one of my favorite pastimes. I love to listen to and sing all kinds of music.

I am the second-oldest of eight children. I have five brothers and two sisters. My sisters are the youngest, so I was the only girl in the family for a long time! I adore all of my brothers and sisters and loved growing up in a big family. Because I am part of a big family, there are always activities to attend. It is so much fun supporting one another. We hope to have a big family, too!
Cameron I am a sports nut. I love football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, and snow skiing. I am so grateful for the opportunity I still have to participate in most of these sports. I especially love to play softball. I plan on coaching my children’s teams one day as well as being an active part of their lives in all that they do. Scott and I already enjoy playing catch and basketball together. I also love to camp and hike. The outdoors is definitely where I feel most at peace. In addition, one day, I would like to learn carpentry. It will be a fun hobby to learn with my children. I hope to share those times with my children to grow closer to them.

I am the oldest of eight children. Yes, that’s right. Cindy and I are both one of eight children. In fact, I also have five brothers and two sisters. It was wonderful growing up in a big family. My parents were always supportive of the things we wanted to do. I am especially grateful for the sacrifices my mother made for each one of us. She was definitely my rock growing up. I grew up in the South. I love the South. The weather is great, the food is great, and the people are great.
As a Family. . . Our family loves to travel together. We travel to visit family, to sight see, Family Reunions, you name it! We also love attending sporting events from little league age, to college, to professional!! We enjoy music, singing, going to parks, going to the beach, camping, skiing - - lots of things!! We hope to have a large family with whom we can share these same activities.

We also have lots of extended family that we spend time with, too. We sing around the piano, attend baseball and softball games, plays, concerts, basketball games, football games, go to church, ride bikes, camp, clean, eat, etc. We love to spend time together! The gospel of Christ is also very important to our family. We love going to church each Sunday and feeling the warmth of our Savior. Sharing in His love helps instill a sense of eternal hope and happiness in our family.

During the past few years, we have had the opportunity to see three siblings get married and Scott now has lots of new cousins, and he LOVES playing with them.

Thank you so much for taking a few moments to get to know us. We know that the decision you are making at this time in your life is not an easy one, but we want you to know that our prayers are with you. We love and respect you for your strength. May God bless you in your decision.

Love, Cindy & Cameron & Scott
