Barry & Margo are hopeful adoptive parents from Georgia waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Introduction Dear Birth Parent(s),

We appreciate you taking time to look at our profile. We are grateful for the love that you have for your child. We have such admiration for you and the sacrifices you are making. Thank you for the faith and trust you have in considering us as parents for your child. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to adopt.

We would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We first met each other in Illinois. Margo was on the activities committee at the church we attended and would intentionally pair Barry up with her for activities! This got Barry's attention. Between spending time together at church and dating, we quickly fell in love and were married.

Shortly after we were married Margo talked Barry into getting a dog. We got a Maltese puppy and named him Bently. He has been such a fun addition to our family!

At the time we married we were both in school and working. After two years Barry graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management. Shortly after graduation, Barry accepted a job with a commercial construction company in Georgia. We packed up our things and moved to Georgia. Since living in Georgia we have made several great friends, purchased a home, and Margo hired on with the same construction company.
Hobbies & Interests We are each others best friends and we love to do all kinds of different activities together, such as taking road trips to see friends or family, working on home improvement projects, spending time outdoors hiking and camping, working out together, playing video games, board games and watching movies.

Margo talking about Barry: Barry is a really funny guy! He is always making me laugh. He is my best friend and I am so in love with him! He is really outgoing and always up for doing something fun. He has great work ethics and is a wonderful provider for our family. Barry enjoys working on home improvement projects and doing mechanical work on our cars. He loves listening to music, singing, playing the guitar and playing video games.

Barry talking about Margo: Margo is my best friend and the love of my life. We are like two peas in a pod. I can always count on her to be there for me through thick and thin. When you give her a task to do you can count on her to get it done quickly and efficiently. She is wonderful with children and I know that someday she will make an excellent mother. She loves making cards for family and friends, exercising, reading, cooking, spending time with her girlfriends and keeping in touch with family and friends.
Family Background Barry talking about his family: I was born and raised in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. I have three siblings: an identical twin brother, an older brother, and older sister.

My twin brother was my best friend growing up. We did everything together. I've always been very close with my older brother and sister. We all keep in touch regularly.

My dad was always a great example of someone who worked hard at whatever task was put before him. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with him out in the garage. He taught me how to do mechanical work on my car. He also taught me to love classic rock and roll, play the guitar, and sing. I grew up participating in Boy Scouts of America with my dad and my twin brother. I received my Eagle Scout award when I was 16.

My mom taught me to be clean, organized, and respectful of others and to be strong in our faith.

Both of my parents supported me in running track and cross country in school. They always allowed me to make my own choices and pursue my own goals.

Margo talking about her family: I was born in New York and moved to Maine when I was 6 months old where I spent the next 15 ½ years. I am the third of six children. I have two older brothers, two younger brothers and a younger sister.

Our home was out in the country, complete with an in-ground swimming pool! We spent every day we could swimming and playing outdoors as children.

My dad loved to play with us outdoors; we had countless games of four square, wiffle ball and basketball. We went camping numerous times as a family and took many trips to the coast.

I have many memories of my mother’s delicious dinners she would make on a nightly basis and also memories of the clean-up as children we had to do after dinner! My mother is one of my best friends and I would love to lay on her bed and chat with her about my days at school.

During my junior and senior years of high school we moved a lot, due to my step-father’s job. I continued to move frequently after that and thankfully so because it took me to Illinois where I met Barry!

Although my family currently all live in different states around the country we all keep in touch and see each other as often as we can.
Conclusion This process has been a humbling experience for us. We have grown to love birth parents and the sacrifice you endure so that others may have the opportunity to be parents, here, on this earth. We know that it is only through your sacrifice that we will be blessed beyond measure.

We are so very excited to begin a family and become parents. We have both been raised in wonderful, loving families strong in our faith. Our desire is to have the same type of upbringing with our children. We look forward to teaching our children that families can be together forever.

With Love,

Barry & Margo
