Neal & Tina are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthmother We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. It takes incredible strength and courage to decide to consider adoption for your child.. .and then there is the impossible task of finding a couple that you believe will give your child the loving home that he or she deserves. This is the most precious gift you have to give, and the most important decision you will ever have to make.
We are Tina and Neal and we have been married for five years. In 2003, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Sofia, into this world, and our lives have not been the same since. Neither one of us were ready for the incredible impact this little soul would have on our lives. We both agree that parenting is the best thing that ever happened to us, and definitely the most fulfilling.
We wanted to have children close together, unfortunately, it did not happen as easily the second time. We spent the next three years on the infertility roller coaster, enduring many heartaches and disappointments. During this time, both Neal's sister and Tina's lifelong friend adopted babies. We saw what joy these babies brought to our loved ones and how both couples took in these beautiful beings and loved them from first sight. When our dreams of conceiving a second child were looking bleak, we began discussing adoption and realized that this was the way we could complete our family.

About Tina....by Neal

Tina is a beautiful, compassionate, caring, strong, and intelligent woman full of integrity. Family is important to her. She is blessed to be surrounded by a loving and close-knit extended family, most of whom live in the immediate area. Tina's strong family values come from a lifetime of unconditional love and support from family and friends. Her parents emigrated from Austria when they were teens, so she grew up in a German speaking household. Tina learned to cook and garden from her "Oma" (Grandmother in German) and still enjoys both today. She also enjoys photography, which is evidenced by the many photos of Sofia around the house.

About Neal...by Tina

Neal is a fun-loving child at heart. He would rather sit down in the middle of a group of kids and play with their toys, than sit at the "grown up" table. This of course makes Sofia happy because she always has someone willing to play with her. Neal is kind, considerate and loving person who always puts family first. He is a doting and involved father that never had a fear of staying home alone with Sofia even when she was a newborn. Neal loves to golf (although he doesn't get to go out as often as he used to), loves photography, and enjoys working with high tech equipment like computers. Neal is currently continuing his education in Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing, hoping to further his experience and knowledge.
