Anthony & Debra are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Introduction Dear Birth Family:

Hi…We’re Tony & Debbie. We would like to introduce ourselves to you through this letter and website.

We met each other almost 15 years ago when Debbie’s friends opened a restaurant and Tony was employed there on a part-time basis. We began to talk and realized that we had a lot in common. This year we are going to be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary!

We live in a quiet neighborhood near an elementary school. Our well-kept home is a warm and loving environment which would be made complete by the addition of a child. Our backyard, with its flower and vegetable gardens, is the perfect setting for family barbecues and relaxing weekends. Our yard offers a safe playing area for an active child.
All About Us Tony works as a Project Manager in New York City. He is of Italian/Scottish descent. He is responsible, caring, creative, hard working and has a great sense of humor. In his spare time, he enjoys music (especially playing guitar), gardening, computers, exercise and watching sports. Tony has taught guitar to children for many years and looks forward to introducing music to his child. He is very proud of our gardens, which from Spring to Fall are full of colorful blooms and cannot wait to have a little gardening assistant!

Debbie works part-time as an Office Assistant and, since we are financially secure, is excited at the prospect of becoming a stay-at-home Mom. She is of Italian descent. She is loving, patient, caring, organized, warm and intelligent. Her hobbies include reading, exercise, needlepoint, doll collecting and the arts. She also enjoys cooking, shopping and kickboxing classes. She will love decorating the baby’s room, which is next to our bedroom, with her handmade needlepoint pillows and pictures. She also eagerly awaits reading bedtime stories to her child each night. Debbie frequently volunteers to solicit neighborhood donations for the American Cancer Society, Heart Association and Leukemia & Lymphoma Association. She has babysat many times for her young cousins and friends’ children.
Our Home Life We are both practicing Catholics and are very family oriented. A lot of time is spent with our extended family, including holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. Debbie’s Mom’s house at the Jersey Shore is a frequent summer destination. The entire family gathers there to enjoy the summer together. Debbie’s Mom knits beautiful blankets and can’t wait to start knitting blankets for the baby!

Most nights after dinner, we work out together at the gym. Afterwards, we relax together by watching TV or just talking. On weekends, we can be found working in our yard and garden, or doing chores around the house. For fun on the weekends, we will usually go to dinner, possibly a movie, and sometimes get together with friends or family. We also enjoy plays, concerts, ballet and festivals.

We maintain a healthy, non-smoking lifestyle, with nutritious home-cooked meals and frequent trips to the gym. Debbie is a very good cook, preparing her daily menu with an eye towards healthy eating. Our favorite meals include whole wheat pasta with broccoli rabe, baked flounder bruschetta, grilled chicken with vegetables and baked scallops with lemon. The tomatoes from our garden provide the basis for our delicious homemade pasta sauce. We also use our outdoor grill as much as possible.
Raising a Child We believe a child needs to be raised with patience, love, structure and strong family values. Being a parent means spending time with your child, teaching them right from wrong and always providing guidance through life. Our child will become our first priority.

Welcoming a child into our home would complete our family. We have much love to share with a child and feel that we would be able to provide a good home and secure future.

Thank you very much for considering us as adoptive parents and for taking the time to review our website.

Sincerely yours,

Tony and Debbie
