Chris & Kelly are hopeful adoptive parents from Virginia waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthmother Thank you for reading our profile and getting to know us. It is difficult to put into words what adopting a child would mean to us. We always knew we wanted a family even before we got married. We tried in vitro a couple of years ago with no success. We are each others best friend and enjoy spending time together. We also spend a lot of time with our family, especially our niece and nephew. We are looking forward to welcoming a baby into our home.

How We Met Our niece, Danielle, did not know it at the time, but she brought us together. Kelly was playing with her in the snow in January 2004 when she fell and broke her ankle and dislocated her foot. Kelly began physical therapy a couple of months later where she met Chris. He was not Kelly's physical therapist, but he worked at the clinic where she spent three days a week for three months. We began dating and realized very quickly that we had something special. We surprised friends and family when we decided to elope in Las Vegas jus a year and a half later.

Our Life Together We live in a great neighborhood for kids in central Virginia. We have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to play. Our home is close to a park and the neighborhood pool.

Chris enjoys his job as a physical therapist because he gets to meet new people every week. Kelly also enjoys her job as a vice president in a real estate investment company.

Chris is an avid golfer and plays whenever he can. Kelly enjoys playing golf as well, but only when the weather conditions are perfect. We like to play new courses when we travel. We have played golf in Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas and California.
