Lloyd & Belinda are hopeful adoptive parents from Pennsylvania waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent(s): We want to thank you for letting us share a little bit about our lives with you, and we hope that after reading this, you will also be part of our lives.

What it means to be Parents

Our love for each other is bound together with mutual respect, lots of communication, a commitment to our faith in God, and having fun along the way! We know first-hand the importance of having a spiritual belief and an educational foundation, since we have benefited from these, and want to provide these to a child. We have spent countless hours talking about being parents, and we believe good parents are role models who, above all else, support, encourage, and shower children with unconditional love.

Something about Belinda

Belinda has a compassionate heart, a warm smile, and an easy laugh that makes me feel so lucky that I’m married to her. She works at a college helping students pursue their education, and at home, Belinda loves spending time with her family. She has a huge family of six sisters and three brothers and 12 nieces and nephews -- ranging in age from 3 to 17 years old. Aunt Belinda is always babysitting and having sleepovers at our house.

Her sense of humor always helps to make us laugh at the end of some stressful days, and she is interested in so many things. She finds a lot of enjoyment from being outdoors, working out at the gym, taking walks, and biking. And she also loves dance, the arts, and reading.

She’s discovered the way to my heart is through my stomach and is quite the cook – her crumb cake is the best ever – a recipe from her mom! She’s traveled throughout Italy, Greece, the Greek Isles, Turkey, the Caribbean, and many of the states. Each December, she and her sisters visit New York City to see a Broadway show and enjoy the holiday lights.

Family is what matters most to Belinda, and she cannot wait to create her own as she waits to become a mom. She’s such a natural at taking care of children since growing up she helped with her younger siblings. She’ll be the ultimate mom!
Something about Lloyd When I think of Lloyd, it’s easy to know what attracted me to him. He is so thoughtful and always makes me feel that together we can handle whatever comes our way. He’s the person I want to share my hopes and dreams with in life! He loves meeting new people and will walk up to anyone and start a conversation, and usually gets them laughing about something.

Lloyd grew up in a family with parents who always encouraged him to follow his interest in sports such as ice hockey, skiing, baseball, and cars. He has a great sense of humor – and is a bit of a prankster – so there is always laughter in our home. His adventurous side has taken him skiing in Austria, rafting the Colorado River, and scuba diving in South America. One thing he’s really passionate about is his 1969 mustang; he spends free time going to different car shows. Lloyd will be such an incredible dad!

Something about Thelma

Our 8-year old, domestic gray-haired cat, that is! Thelma loves to play hide-and-seek and catch rubber bands. Her favorite ‘people’ food is salad and cereal. At the end of the night we usually hear her climbing the stairs with her feathered stick for some playtime with no idea that we’re ready to go to sleep. Her favorite activity is when we spin her around on our hardwood floors – she can’t get enough of it. She hangs out with either of us whether we’re at our desks typing away on the computer or watching TV – and our nieces and nephews love playing with her too.

Our Families and Tradition

To us, family means caring, unconditional love, support and creating tradition. Feeling the security of growing up in a loving and supportive family has been so important to us, and we want your child to be blessed with the same. Both our parents have been married over 40 years, and there are so many aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews that are so excited to be welcoming a new addition to our family!

Belinda holds tradition close to her heart since she has such wonderful memories of growing up in a close-knit family. Baking home-made chocolate chip cookies for Santa, waking up to the magic of Christmas morning, coloring Easter eggs, July 4th parades and potato-sack races, summers at her grandparent’s beach house, and camping are many of the cherished memories she has and wants nothing more than to create the same (and new ones) for a child.

Her family all live nearby so there is always a birthday, barbeque or holiday that brings everyone together.

Lloyd also grew up in a close family. He has one brother who has 2 daughters whom we see regularly and at holidays and his parent’s beach house during the summer. His nieces have the most fun with Uncle Lloyd whether it’s looking for seashells on the beach or getting a pony ride from him. He’s the fun uncle!
Home Sweet Home We live in a suburban neighborhood next to an historic park so it’s not unusual to see deer where we walk or bike. We have a huge backyard, and a few blocks away there is a park with children’s playgrounds, a duck pond, walking and biking trails, and ball fields. There is also a performing arts pavilion that presents outdoor concerts, and each Fourth of July, the township displays beautiful fireworks.

Fun & Vacation

We love to travel and spend a few weeks at the beach each summer. Usually, we vacation one week with Belinda’s family, and Lloyd’s family has a beach house where we jet ski on summer weekends. In the winter, we usually vacation a week in Aruba where his parents have a condominium.

We’ve both travelled a lot up to this point in our life, and we hope to offer your child the opportunity to travel and see the world too. We love the outdoors and bike, hike, go antique shopping, golf, garden, and even shop together . . . (well, Belinda likes that most!)
Thank you We want to thank you for taking time to get to know us a little bit more. You are in our hearts and prayers as you make your decision to choose the best adoptive parents for your child. We hope that we are those parents and want you to know that your child will always know how special you are to make our dream come true! Thank you and God bless you.
