Marion & Jennifer are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

We are Marion & Jennifer: We would like to thank you for taking the time to view our profile and read our letter. We can only imagine how difficult this time in your life has been. You must have so many decisions to make, and we know that you want what is best for both you and your baby. We hope and pray that you will find comfort and peace in whatever decision you make.

Please let us tell you a little bit about us. We have been very happily married since 1997, and for many years we have dealt with our infertility and have been unsuccessful in conceiving a child. We accept that a pregnancy is not going to happen, but we know we are still meant to be parents. We have learned through this experience that we are meant to have a baby born of our hearts, and adoption was the obvious choice for us. We dream of the joy & blessings that an adopted child will bring to our home and to our family! We are truly excited in our choice to adopt, and we are very open to twins as well!

Once upon a time... We were introduced by mutual friends, and as silly as it sounds “It was love at first sight”! We couldn’t believe how much we had in common and we were instantly hooked on each other! Not only did Jennifer think Mar was extremely handsome, but she was touched by his kindness and the caring way he spoke of his family. Marion was attracted to Jennifer as well and thought she was an honest and caring person. From that moment 14 years ago, we never doubted that we would be together for the rest of our lives.

We love to laugh and be happy, and we really enjoy life! We know we have been deeply blessed with finding each other. We have a joyful and solid marriage that is built on the foundation of our deep faith in God and our love for each other. We admire & respect each other and enjoy spending time together. We love to travel, especially to the Northwest and Southwest United States. We enjoy forests, mountains, canyons, and nature in general. We usually take several vacations each year, and we can’t wait to teach our child about nature & creation.

We live in a peaceful town, in a neighborhood full of families with small children. We have excellent schools and beautiful parks. Our home has 3 large bedrooms and plenty of room for a child to play and grow. Our yard is full of big beautiful evergreen trees and flowers, and every year we grow a healthy organic garden.

A child we are blessed to raise will have a world of opportunity, and we will encourage and help him or her to fulfill their dreams and obtain their goals. We believe that education is important and we will provide for their future. We are very patient & peaceful, and we know our home will be a fun and happy place to grow up!

About us: About Jennifer:

Jennifer is a Realtor and has an office in our home. She has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. There are 9 nieces and nephews between them. Jen’s mother died when she was 12, and her father died when she was 19. Her father had remarried, and she is still close with her step family. Jennifer has a great compassion for others & is active with several charities. She really loves children and spends a lot of time with the kids in their family, and with those of their friends. Jennifer studied child development for 2 years and has always wanted to be a mother. She has a lot of experience with raising children, as she was a nanny for several years. Jennifer works part time for a life & annuity company and looks forward to being a “stay at home mom”. She wants to share her love of reading, music, cooking, scrap booking and making crafts. Jennifer likes to be silly and have fun; her sense of humor helped bring her through the loss of her parents, and our inability to conceive a child. She is truly an optimist and enjoys life!

About Marion:

Marion owns a carpentry business and is an excellent provider. He recently remodeled our home to make room for a child. We have been praying and preparing for our little one since we decided to adopt. Marion loves old cars, and he often attends car shows with our nieces & nephews. He looks forward to the day he can take our child to car shows too! Marion has always been very close with his family, which includes 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 14 nieces and nephews. He enjoys fishing, classic movies, antiques, and history. He is a kind and gentle man, and has a big soft heart. He is funny and makes Jennifer laugh all the time.

Our plan for your child: We get together with our families often, and we can’t wait to introduce our new little sweetheart to everybody! We also have a lot of friends with small children, and we are friends with at least 6 couples who have adopted, or are waiting to adopt. Our child will grow up with lots of playmates, many of which have also been adopted. It is important to us that our son or daughter understands that his or her birth family made this courageous decision out of love. We have a tremendous amount of respect & admiration for you, and we promise that your baby will know you acted out of love and selflessness.

We know we can provide a safe & secure home, and we are committed to raising a happy, honest, and loving child. Our life together has brought us much happiness, and we are truly overjoyed to have the opportunity to bring a child into our family. We thank you again for reading our letter. We are praying for your health and well being, and we hope you consider us to be the parents to raise your little sweetheart.

We would love to meet with you or exchange letters if you desire.

Respectfully,

Marion & Jennifer
