Dear Birth Parents We can only imagine how difficult it must be to place your child for adoption. The journey ahead of you will be hard but it is selfless and only proves how much you love your child. As the parents of a 8 year old son, we know that your greatest concern is choosing adoptive parents that will provide your child with a good life filled with lots of love. While we don’t know each other, we are secure in the thought that we have this in common.

About Us We are Michael and Michele. We have known each other for 20 years and met while attending the same college. We started dating 19 years ago and were married in 1995. From the moment that we started dating, we knew that we were a perfect match and looked forward to a great life together. Our personalities as well as are interests were so similar we quickly realized that not only were we life long mates but best friends. We enjoy spending time together and have a very strong marriage and friendship.

Our Family Michael grew up in a large family with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Because Michael's Father was an officer in the military, Michael had the opportunity to travel the world. Michael enjoys watching sports, playing golf and spending time with his family.

Michele is the middle child in a family of 3 girls. Her extended family is very large. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins and loves being surrounded by family. Michele is a life long fan of old movies and enjoys reading and cooking.

In 2000, 5 years after our marriage, we gave birth to our son Kevin. Since his arrival, Kevin has provided us with enormous joy. He is a very bright and energetic 8 year old who enjoys playing outdoors and participates in year round sports. Kevin has a lot of playmates which include his friends and his 9 first cousins. He is very exited at the prospect of being a big brother.

Soon after Kevin was born, we realized that we would not be able to have any more children. While the birth of Kevin has fulfilled us in so many ways, the realization that Kevin would be our only child was difficult to accept. We are both from large families and always anticipated that we would carry on that tradition by having a large family.

Our Home We live in a suburban town in central New Jersey. Our community is rich with parks and lots of open space. The township has soccer fields and baseball fields.

Since we are in the middle of state it is only an hour drive to Philadelphia and New York. Living here is the best of both worlds. We get to enjoy the suburban life style and can easily get into the city to enjoy the museums and exhibits.

The schools in our community are excellent. Kevin attends the public school. Education is very important to us and we feel fortunate to be able to send Kevin and his future sibling to good schools which will afford them a positive path forward in life.
