Jim & Renee` are hopeful adoptive parents from Michigan waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Congratulations!
Adoption in Progress.

Welcome to Our Profile! Hello!!! We are Jim and Renée. Words just don’t seem to be adequate enough to express our feelings for you and your decision for your baby(s). We can not imagine how difficult it is to make an adoption plan. We pray for you daily; that God will give you peace and wisdom. We admire the love you have for your baby and we respect you. If you select us as adoptive parents you will be comforted in knowing that your baby will be brought up in a home filled with the Love of God and family.

We have a strong loving relationship and have always wanted children to share in that love. Although we have struggled with miscarriages; then infertility since the beginning of our marriage, we’ve always tried to remain open to God’s plan for us and believe it is through adoption that we are meant to start our family. Since deciding to proceed with adoption rather than continue with additional fertility treatments, we have felt an overwhelming sense of peace and we know that we’ve made the right decision. We are much closer and stronger as a couple now and are thrilled at the opportunity to build our family through adoption.
About Us We both grew up in southeast Michigan and we each are from a family with 4 children. Renée has one brother and two sisters while Jim has three brothers. Between the two of us we currently have 16 nieces and nephews that range from newborn to adults. There are family members that live as close as 10 minutes away. We also have family that are scattered across the United States and aboard. We have two sweet dogs that are very playful and love attention from everyone. Our English Springer Spaniel is a retired show dog and we adopted our Lab-Mix from an Animal Rescue.

Jim by Renée
Jim is 5’ 8”, brown hair and green eyes with light to medium skin. He is a wonderful and affectionate man who has a great sense of humor. As a husband, his sensitivity for my feelings and concern for my safety brings me great comfort and security. He is kind and gentle and always finds a way to make me feel special. Jim is my best friend and the man of my dreams. Some of his favorite things are MSU (Yeah…Spartans!) football and basketball games, as well as hockey (Yeah…Red Wings!). He also enjoys building model cars and did I mention he loves to cook. Music is also one of his loves; he started playing the Saxophone while in the 3rd grade and continued in band through college. Jim also enjoys volunteering at church and helps me with the delivery of meals to the home bound community. During family gathering you will find him playing video games or air hockey inside or Bocci and catch in the backyard with our nieces, nephews or friend's children. There is nothing I look forward to more; as I do raising children together with him.

Renée by Jim
Renée is 5’ 8”, brown hair and brown eyes with fair to light skin. I fell in love with Renée the moment I met her and grow more in love with her every day. She is smart, happy, joyful, loving, very giving and extremely creative. Renée has always had an energy that keeps her going and going. Renée owns and operates her own business out of our home, so she will be a stay at home mom. She is very artistic and is always making something for me, the house or someone. She is also a wonderful teacher always willing to share with others how she made one thing or another. Renée loves the out of doors. During the spring she plants a garden and looks forwards to the fresh vegetables during the summer. Some of her favorite things to do are riding her bike and going for evening walks with me and the dogs. As well as playing Operation, dolls, Frisbee or ladder golf with our nieces, nephews and neighborhood children. She is a compassionate and loving person who will make a wonderful mother and I can’t wait to share that with her.

Some of our favorite adventures are going to state parks, zoos, museums and science centers. As well as going to fun places like Whirlpool Jet Boating, Disney World, Sea World, Hershey’s Park, the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. We believe that vacations are meant for fun, learning and exploring new things. We love going to places where we can dig for treasures…like garnets, rose quarts, fossils and emeralds.
Our Community We live in a community that is very family orientated and has infants to teenagers. You can’t take a walk without coming across a few who are taking a stroll with their babies. During the summer there are lots of children playing outside all up and down the streets in our subdivision. Everyone keeps an eye on each other’s children.

We also have two libraries that are close by as well as local parks that abound with jungle gyms, swings and plenty of room to run for the children. Additionally we are only about 20 minutes from a beautiful state park and about 10 minutes from a gorgeous lake that has wonderful tall ships to explore when they sail into port during the summer.
Our Family Values We have a strong faith in God and love to worship and praise him in everything he has done for us. Family is very important to us. We are very affectionate and tell each other “I love you!” every day, several times a day! We never leave the house without kissing good-bye. Sitting down at the family table for meals and pray over our food, no matter if it’s at home or in a restaurant. We both agree to raise our children with the Love of God, a positive outlook toward life, lots of love, encouragement, and an abundance of warm hugs and sweet kisses.

We promise to be honest with you and your baby(s). We would consider it both an honor and privilege to raise children in our home. To teach them the love of God, the importance of education, to give them opportunities to learn and grow to become an independent and caring individual(s) with our guidance and support.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us just a little by reading our letter. We would love to have the opportunity to talk to you!! Please feel free to Send us a message. Or IM us if we are online.

May God richly bless you and give you peace,
Jim and Renée
