Mark & Ragan are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

Even though we have not met, we already believe that you are strong, selfless, and amazing. Words cannot express our feelings towards you and your courage as you make your decision in choosing an adoptive family for your child. Mark and I have been together for over five years. We love spending every day with each other, and are truly blessed with a strong marriage. Our love for one another grows each and every day. We believe that everyday is a reason to celebrate, life, love, and family. As a family we love to be together and can't wait to have another child to share all of our joy together as a family. We promise to love and respect your child, and allow them to grow into the person that they want to become. We will offer them every opportunity available to them through a loving and nurturing environment. We are truly looking forward to having another child in our house to love. We hope that this will give you a glimpse into our lives, and knowing us a little better will put any fears you have at ease knowing that your child will be forever loved.

About Ragan by Mark: Ragan is the love of my life. I am very fortunate so have found such a wonderful match for both me and my daughter. Ragan really enjoys taking care of our family and making sure everything is running smoothly. Whether it is picking Annie up from drama practice or taking care of the family needs, I can always count on Ragan to be there. Ragan finds family time the most rewarding part of her day and is looking forward to becoming a mother. Ragan has done an exceptional job of developing a wonderful relationship with my daughter. They have girls night once a week and they order pizza and watch the reality show de jour, like American Idol. They have developed a close bond and truly enjoy each others company.

Ragan is both smart and caring at the same time. After finishing law school, she practiced successfully for several years, but now finds volunteering and being a stay-at-home mom more fulfilling. She can't wait to be their cheerleader, and be at all the activities, and be a room mom at the local elementary school. Ragan truly loves animals, and has never met an animal that she didn't like. When she is not busy with family she is participating in local races, triathlons, or some crazy "boot camp". Ragan has a very natural rapport with both children and adults. She is excited about being a mom.

About Mark by Ragan: Mark is an amazing husband, father, and person. I fell in love with Mark because of his ability to enjoy life. Mark is always pointing out the good things in life, and never takes life for granted. I sometimes call Mark the kid and animal whisper, because I have never seen an animal or kid not love Mark. They are automatically drawn to him. Mark is well grounded being raised by parents that have been together for 40 years. As a child growing up in rural Indiana, Mark excelled at both school and sports. Mark raced motor-cross professionally for many years, and his parents were at every competition. Mark has retired from racing motor-cross bikes, and now rides his bicycle 300 miles a week. Mark received a solid foundation from his parents and understands the need for parents to be involved in a child's life and being at their meets, competitions, and recitals. Mark already makes an amazing father, and I see it in Mark and Annie's relationship and their strong bond. Mark has worked very hard to give Annie a great life that affords her the opportunity to have access to all the great things that the world has to offer. Mark is an electrical engineer by education, and is a co-founded a computer company, and has been very successful allowing me to be a stay-at-home mom to Annie and to our future child.



About Annie:
Annie is kind, thoughtful, accepting and loving. To put into words all the attributes that Annie has to offer the world is difficult. Annie is an amazing person with maturity beyond her years. She teaches us strength and selflessness everyday. We understand the value of adoption, because Mark adopted Annie when she was 3 years old, and they are inseparable. He loves to be with her, and loves being a father. We understand the importance of allowing your child to know their birth parents, because Annie speaks to her birth father on a regular basis, and visits him twice a year. We believe that is an important part of her foundation and who she is today, and who she will become in life, and we are forever grateful for Annie in our lives. Annie loves children, and children love her. When we go and visit the nieces and nephews they want to hang out with Annie and can't wait until she comes over to "play". Annie will be a great big sister.
We are certainly the lucky ones to have such a wonderful child in our life as Annie.

Our House: We live in a beautiful large city in Texas, but live in a neighborhood that feels like it is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We bought our house about two years ago planning to fill it with the love of another child. We live on a quite and safe street that is shaded with great oak trees. Our house is in walking distance of a lake, wonderful jogging paths, great parks, pools, a children's museum, and a blue ribbon elementary school. The elementary school is one of the top in the city and the parents are very involved in the grade school. We can't wait to be involved with all the great activities at the school. We always take walks in our neighborhood, and love to stop and talk with our neighbors. It is a very close knit and welcoming neighborhood. We have a great street filed with tons of kids waiting for another playmate. We meet outside every Sunday to play "Sports"...Mark and I even partake in the action and love every second of it. We are also very luck to live in the same city as Ragan's family and they can't wait until there is another baby in the family.

About the Kitties:
We have two cats, Maggie and Little Giant aka "G". They are so much fun and love to be with the family. Maggie takes on the big sister role and is very protective over "G". "G" always enjoys getting into mischief and will be great help when the new baby arrives because he will be waiting for the food to drop on the floor for him to eat.


We know that you want the best for your child, and have given considerable thought to your courageous and selfless decision. We are extremely committed to your child.
