Scott & Holly are hopeful adoptive parents from Maryland waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Friend(s) We are thrilled that you are checking out our profile and we are happy that you are considering adoption! We believe that you are making a loving choice. Our prayers are with you during this time so that you will be able to choose the right place for your child.

Our hearts were drawn towards adoption long before our fertility challenges. We discussed the possibility of adoption early in our marriage and felt that it would be a wonderful experience and a blessing to our lives.

We want our future child to have a rich and happy life and to be surrounded by loving people. We are so excited to bring home our first child.

We have so much love to give a child and birth parent. We will cherish your baby forever and we will always remember you and the great sacrifice that you made that allowed us to have a family. We would love to share letters, pictures, phone calls and visits if you would like. We would like your baby to grow up knowing who you are and how much you love them. We feel very excited to be parents. We promise to love and cherish your baby forever.
Our Family Holly's Family:

I am the second oldest of five girls and three boys. My mom is one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever met. She has always encouraged us to be independent, hard working, honest and to be best friends with our brothers and sisters.

My dad was a very adventurous spirit. He taught me that the possibilities in life are endless and that I can accomplish anything I set my mind and heart to .

I loved the feeling of peace, love and friendship that we had in our home growing up.

Scott's Family:

I am the second youngest in a family of seven. I have six sisters and no brothers. Growing up in a family of all girls was definitely a unique experience!

All of my sisters are great examples to me. I’m proud that all seven of us have been sealed in the temple. There 17 cousins now between all of my sisters’ children. We have a big family with great parents.

When my family gets together we naturally love to chat and have huge laughs. Making each other smile and laugh is one of the ways my family shows love for each other.

Our Relationship:

We are going on three years of marriage. We have put a lot of time and energy into nurturing and strengthening our relationship. Our relationship is built on love, trust and open communication. We love to be together and spend almost all of our free time with each other. Together we make a strong team that uplifts each other, serves others and seeks new adventures.
Above all our number one goal is to build a strong and loving family that will be together forever!

About us About Holly:

Holly loves to cook and enjoys making nice meals every night. Holly has always had a love for animals and growing up, would get any animal her parents would allow her to get. Holly loves being creative and loves learning new things. She likes making jewelery, drawing and painting, quilting and other crafts.
Holly traveled for over 5 years, having adventures such as camping and traveling through out Ireland and England with her cousin. Working on Motor Yachts throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean, camping all summer in the South of France with her sister, back packing through Italy and France , exploring Peru and Brazil, and even living in the Rain Forest in a village for two months. Holly loved the daily adventure, and the constant challenge of a traveling lifestyle. This offered her many opportunities to strengthen her character and to develop a very open minded and accepting attitude, along with a love and excitement for life.

Throughout her experiences and the people that she met, one thing that Holly cherishes about her travels is learning to really enjoy every day and live it to its fullest. It is easy to get caught up in the daily mundane tasks and responsibilities of life, but through her experiences she learned to have a passion for life and to live in the moment.

A note from Scott about Holly:

Holly is the most amazing person in the world and I adore her so much! Every day I’m thrilled to be greeted with a HUGE smile and a big hug by her. Holly has taught me the importance of treating everyone with genuine kindness.

Holly is also very focused in her desire to live obediently and with integrity in all she does.

Holly has a wealth of wisdom from her many years of traveling the world. During her travels Holly spent the quiet times reading and pondering and striving to strengthen her testimony.

Later, after we were dating, Holly returned to France to be a nanny for a family she had met during her travels. She worked 12 hours a day caring for Erin (age 1), Ryan (age 3 ) and Cameron (age 5). Holly learned a lot about parenting and caring for children during her time as a nanny. She also took on the task of learning French and could carry on a nice conversation by the time she left.

Holly will be a loving and attentive mother and I can’t wait to see her in action!

Scott’s Hobbies:

Scott has an appetite for learning new things and for finding solutions to problems. His curiosity developed at a very young age when he discovered that he had a knack for fixing things around the house. Scott was always thrilled when an appliance would break and his mom would let him dissect it and he would figure out a way to repair it. Scott has repaired cars most of his life and loves to buy broken cars, boats and scooters and restore them to working condition. He also loves finding solutions to other problems. It is exciting for him to overcome obstacles that we face in our small business. There is a thrill in believing that no problem is too big to overcome. That keeps him excited about life.

Scott likes taking little vacations to explore the area around where we live. He likes taking camping trips and is a great outdoors-man. Sometimes we joke about just living at the campground all summer. Scott has recently found a love for boating. He bought a little motor boat and enjoys a fun and relaxing day at the lake. He has fun trying out his water skiing skills and doing a little fishing. He also enjoys the challenge of fixing the boat up in his free time.

A note from Holly about Scott:

Scott is the nicest, most wonderful person I have ever met, and I couldn't have imagined a better husband! Scott is constantly surrounded with energy and exerts himself 100% in everything that he does. He has a very easy going personality and is always happy and easy to get along with. I really appreciate his patience and the way he lets me figure things out in my own time. Scott is very intelligent and resourceful. He can fix anything, solve any problem and do any job. Scott is very open about the future and is excited about any opportunities that may come our way. He is also very humble and always striving to be a better person. Scott is the ideal family man. He puts so much energy and thought into nourishing our marriage and making our relationship strong. Scott is truly my best friend. Scott is very excited to be a dad and has been anxious to add a new member to our family. Scott will be a wonderful father that is truly interested in his children, who loves to spend time with them and get involved in the things they like to do.

Life with us When we got married Holly needed a job so we started a courier business that she did for the first year until it made enough money that Scott could leave his job to work on it full time with Holly. We have had the company now for almost 3 years and it has been going really great. It has been so nice to be able to spend so much time together and to have that flexibility with our schedule. Scott has a very entrepreneurial spirit and we will always strive to have an income source that allows him to be home as much as possible so we can spend time as a family.

It is in our goals to take extended trips as a family so that our children can have some great memories and have experiences that will build their character and our bond as a family, and to have a life filled with experience, adventure and fun!

It has always been Holly’s plan and desire to be a full time stay at home mom. This is definitely a priority to both of us and we are both committed to make sure that she can always able to be home with the kids.

Thank you so much for taking the time to find out about us. Even though we have not met yet we are full of respect and appreciation for you.
Thank you so much for considering adoption and we hope that you will write us or call us if you want to learn more about us.

Sincerely, Scott and Holly
