Ryan & Brandi are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent(s),
Hello! We are Ryan and Brandi and we appreciate you taking the time to get to know us a little better. We hope this gives you a clear picture of who we are and what kind of parents we hope to be.
We both grew up in loving homes and want to recreate that environment for our own family. In God’s strength, we will provide a life filled with unconditional love and support for our children. Both of our families are so excited about our plans to adopt. We love spending time together and can’t wait to share the joys of everyday life with a child.
After a season of trying to conceive, it became clear that God was leading us to build our family through adoption. This was an easy transition for us as we have always felt called to adopt. We believe that God’s heart beats strongly for adoption. As Christians, we were each adopted into God’s family (Eph 1:5) not because of anything we had done, but because He chose us to be His children, and we plan to pass this good news along to our children.
Should you choose us, we want your child to always understand the sacrifice you made out of love. We can only imagine how difficult of a decision making an adoption plan for your child would be. We pray that God will give you peace and direction in the decision you make.
About Us:
We have been happily married for almost 5 years. We met and fell in love at our church. We adore each other very much and feel that our warm and loving home will be a wonderful place to raise a child. We are eagerly waiting for the day that we can become parents.
We enjoy the simple things in life together like riding bikes, going to the park, playing Frisbee, and sitting on our porch swing. We also love to travel whenever we get the chance, near or far. We often hop in our car for a road trip to a small historic town, or we may go somewhere that requires a passport and lots of sunblock. Either way, we love the adventure!
The first time I laid eyes on Brandi…
…she was sitting attentively at church listening to the pastor. She looked beautiful and bright and intriguing as she quietly sat there. I couldn’t help but notice that she was staring right back at me. The only problem was… this cute girl wasn’t flirting with me. She was supposed to be looking at me. I was the pastor.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before I had the opportunity to meet Brandi face-to-face. I don’t think that I have ever been so attracted to a woman so quickly. Brandi was down-to-earth, funny, talkative, engaging, intelligent, and even cuter up-close.
We spent 9 months dating and fell in love. I eagerly asked Brandi to be my wife on my birthday, and she is easily the greatest gift I have ever received!
Brandi has been a software engineer for the past 7 years, but she is so excited to start being a full-time mommy! And I think she will be an amazing one. I’ll tell you why.
Brandi has a wide variety of interests and talents. Her creativity shines through in everything she does—from the way she throws a party for a friend to the way she dances to the way she cooks dinner. She is also hilarious. I am constantly caught off guard by her wit. And while Brandi is extremely fun and interesting, she is also exceptionally responsible and organized. That is a rare combination!
Most importantly, Brandi has a sincere love for Christ, which is the foundation of everything that makes her wonderful. Brandi genuinely cares about people. It makes her such an amazing friend to all who know her. This is why I consider her to be God’s greatest gift to me and why she will be an amazing mommy to a very fortunate child.
I married an amazing man!
Ryan is such a kind-hearted, godly husband, and I can’t wait to see him as a father! He’s so great with kids. Whenever there are little ones in a room of adults, Ryan is always the first to make them laugh. They just think he’s absolutely hilarious (but then again, so do I).
Ryan’s been a student minister at our church for the past 11 years, and I have been joyfully serving alongside him for the past 6. It’s such a blessing to know that Ryan is so rightly placed in his job. He is a gifted and hard-working leader who is strong, yet extremely compassionate… the perfect combination for a pastor.
Ryan plans our date nights each week. They can be anything from going to a local fair in the park to setting up a drive-in in our backyard. On special occasions, we go out for sushi, but our all-time favorite date is playing games together at Starbucks.
A few of Ryan’s favorite pastimes are running, reading, and drumming. I maybe bias, but he truly is an exceptionally talented musician. I’d describe Ryan as playful, affectionate, respected by all who know him, and I am proud to call him my very best friend.
We are so blessed to have three very different families:
Brandi’s dad’s family lives on a farm with tons of animals to play with. They’re very ready to be grandparents. In fact, they already have a pony for their first grandchild. And they love to cook, so we know we’re eating well when we head there for a visit.
Brandi’s mom’s family is very creative and active. When we visit them we know we’ll get to play all kinds of games, do puzzles, and arts & crafts. They even enjoy doing things like going to the zoo and to children museums, even though they don’t have little ones to take with them (yet).
Ryan’s family welcomes company around the clock. “The more the better”, they say. They already have one little one (Quinn) running all over the place and another one (Maggie) just starting out. Quinn and Maggie are so excited about having their first cousin to play with.
Eli and our home
We have an affectionate little kitty named Eli, and she is absolutely precious to us. We live in a tree-filled neighborhood with parks and schools nearby. Most of our friends and neighbors have little ones, so between Eli and our neighbors, there will be plenty of fun and friendships for our child.
We’ve lived in our house for 4 years and would be happy to stay forever. It’s an adorable 1920’s brick bungalow. There are hardwood floors throughout, and we painted each room a different color. The nursery is all ready and waiting to welcome a child. It’s bright and cheerful with many colors and lots of animal friends. All that the room needs is a precious little one to complete it.
Thanks!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know us. We hope you have learned enough about us to see how much we love each other, how much fun we have together, and what our daily lives are like. God has blessed us in so many ways, and we hope that we have been able to show you that our hearts are ready and eager to welcome a child into our family.
While these are just a few words about us, we have done our best to give you an honest picture of who we are and what we are all about. We would love to talk with you if you have any questions or want to know more about us.
In Christ’s love,
Ryan & Brandi
