Keith & Denise are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Family
Our names are Keith and Denise. We would like to thank you for taking time to learn more about our family during this difficult time while you consider placing your child for adoption. We are high school sweethearts who have a built a wonderful life together and would love to add children to our home. Adopting a baby to start our family will be the most gracious gift we will ever know. We hope as you read the following pages you will learn we are a warm, fun family, who will provide your child with a safe and secure home, a comfortable lifestyle and a life time of love.
How We Met
We became friends and started dating in high school. We had a blast growing up together. We dated through College and married after graduating. Denise still wears the “Love” charm Keith gave her for Valentine’s Day in high school almost every day.
We love to spend time together. We are truly each other’s best friend. We enjoy the outdoors, bike riding or walking, spending time with friends and family, traveling or enjoying a movie at home. We often think about all the fun family times we will have one day with our children, just like we had with our families growing up. We enjoy music and shows and frequent concerts of our favorite bands, the symphony, Broadway plays or other performance events.
About Denise
Denise is an incredibly caring person. She goes out of her way to give to others. Denise enjoys stitching crafts like sewing, quilting, counted cross stitching and crochet. She has fond memories of her Grandmother teaching her to sew. She enjoys working on projects to give to family and friends as special keepsakes.
Denise started a tradition of having the family Thanksgiving dinner at our house since we have been married, with the entire family pitching in. Denise always plans fun activities for our nieces and nephews when they visit. On Thanksgiving we always make a gingerbread house together and Santa usually stops by.
Denise has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Journalism. Professionally Denise is a Business Planner/Analyst. When we start our family she plans on changing careers to be a stay at home Mom.
We support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in support of a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Denise is a team captain for the annual MS Walk fundraiser. She coordinates a team of approximately 40 family members and friends who raise funds and walk. After the Walk each year, Denise hosts a backyard barbeque at our house to thank everyone for their participation.
About Keith
Keith is a fun-loving person. He has a wonderful sense of humor and keeps everyone smiling. He enjoys spending time with our 7 nieces and nephews, who cannot seem to get enough of their Uncle Keith. He is going to be a wonderful Dad because he loves children. Keith is always ready to lend a helping hand. He does not think twice about helping family, friends or a complete stranger on the side of the road with a flat tire.
Keith is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoys sports; his favorites are football and mixed martial arts. He also enjoys playing cards with friends and family.
Keith and Denise volunteer for the Special Olympics for disabled athletes. Last year Keith’s Special Olympics bocce team won a bronze medal in the State competition. Keith’s participation in the Special Olympics has been a humbling experience.
To enhance his role as a volunteer in the Special Olympics, this year Keith decided he wanted to learn American Sign Language. We took a local adult school class together for fun and really enjoyed it. Now we are planning to take a more advanced class in the fall for future volunteer work.
Keith has both a college and graduate degree in Civil Engineering. Professionally Keith is a licensed Professional Engineer. He has been involved in the environmental field for his entire career.
Our Home & Family
We live in a thriving, safe neighborhood with children of all ages. We have a family home in the suburbs with 3 bedrooms, one and a half baths, a full finished basement and fenced in back yard. Our child will have his/her own room.
Our community has good schools and several parks. Best of all our families live very close. Denise’s Mom and Dad are within walking distance. Keith’s Mom lives about 1.5 miles away. Most of our siblings and their children live within a short car ride.
Our Family
When we shared with our family our plans to adopt, they were more than excited.
Our adoption will make Denise’s parent’s first time Grandparents. We have a great relationship with them. They live within walking distance. We talk with them daily and often have dinner together and go out socially.
Music is a great influence in Denise’s family. Her father Ed is a professional musician, following in the footsteps of his parents, who were also musicians. Denise’s Grandmother Dorothy played the drums at our Wedding when she was 70 years old. Just for one song of course, but it was a moment we will never forget. Denise has one brother, Dave who is also a musician. He is a professional percussionist. Dave is a best friend to Denise.
Our parents and siblings are very friendly with one another as we have all known each other for many years. Our families are often together at family gatherings or holidays.
Keith has 7 siblings (2 sisters, 1 brother, 1 step sister, 1 step brother and 2 half sisters. Growing up in Keith’s house was quite an adventure with such a large family. He has 7 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 5 to 11. Mom Sonia loves being a Grandmother.
Religion and Education
We attend a Lutheran Church and plan to raise our children in the Christian faith.
Education is very important to both of us. We both have advanced degrees and hope our children will benefit from a similar path. As parents our goal is to ensure that our children enjoy their childhood, but are also well positioned to pursue their own goals and dreams for a successful future.
What it means for us to be Parents
We cannot wait to share our lives with children. We have plenty of love and time to share with a child. We are blessed with a large family, good friends, a healthy happy marriage, and financial stability. We will encourage our child to be a strong, independent, caring, responsible person, just like us. We will be supportive parents to help our child grow. We are so looking forward to this next stage of our lives.
Thank you so much for reading our letter and considering our family for your baby. We have so much love to give your child. If you choose us to be the adoptive family for your child, he/she will always know how special you are, the difficult decision you have made and the wonderful gift you have given to us. If you would like to receive pictures and letters over the years, we would be happy to share the gift you have given to us with you.
Fondly, Denise and Keith
