If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Congratulations!
We're Adopting a Girl.
HELLO from us to you!
Dear Birth Mother,
Hello!
We are grateful for YOU already and we don't yet know you! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and letting us get to know you.
You are making such a loving decision for your baby..
We believe in family!
We are David, Joy, Alexis, and Jillian. We have been married for over 11 years and have two of the sweetest little girls!! Alexis is 9 and Jillian is 6. They are distinctly different in looks and in personality, but are so wonderful just the way they are. We LOVE our beautiful girls!
I absolutely LOVE being a mother. And we both desire to have more children, however; I have a pregnancy related condition that makes another pregnancy impossible for me or for our family to handle.
We are blessed with our two beautiful daughters yet, I yearn and feel that someone is missing in our family.
We believe in loving each other..
David and I have a strong marriage. The strength of our marriage comes from our love and belief in our Heavenly Father and in our Savior, Jesus Christ. We feel so grateful for all that we have been given in this life. We want to instill this love in our children. We want them, most of all, to know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them.
David is a fantastic daddy and both Alexis and Jillian adore him. He is the kind of dad who will hold them the whole time they are sick or will clean up the vomit. He will watch cartoons with them, play games with them, and will roll on the floor and play doggie!
David and I both have bachelors degrees. I am educated in the field of Deafness. I have a degree in Educational Interpreting for the Deaf. David is a Mechanical Engineer.
David works as a Project Engineer and I work as a Sign Language Interpreter. We both enjoy our fields. David works full time with an Engineering company and I work two days a week as a sign language interpreter. Both of our girls attend school: Alexis will be in 3rd grade and Jillian is in preschool. When we have another baby, I will stop working for awhile and stay home with the baby.
Our most important work, however, is being parents. We LOVE our kids! And we enjoy our kids! I love spending time with them. We, as a family, enjoy swimming, going to the beach, bike riding, and canoeing. We also love just being together doing nothing much!
everyday and for always.
I feel that we do a successful job of parenting! Our girls are well behaved and they love others. I know they would be such good sisters to the baby we adopt. They would both adore the baby and be so helpful to me. Your baby would be consumed with love and acceptance from our family. We are so excited to think that we might be chosen by a woman such as yourself to take part in raising and loving your baby.
We live in the sunshine state: Florida! And we live in a great neighborhood with lots of fun things to do: swimming, canoeing, playing on the playground , and trails to take long walks. We even have manatee that swim around along the river right in our neighborhood! We enjoy the outdoors and water activities. We love living in Florida and enjoy the warm weather.
We have great extended families! David comes from a very large family: 9 siblings.. so, of course, there are lots of cousins for our kids to play with. Both David's parents and my mom (my dad passed away) are loving, doting grandparents. I have no doubt our families would fall in love immediately with our adopted child..there would be no difference.
We would love to get to know you and would feel comfortable and hope you feel comfortable emailing or phone calls and also later on exchanging pictures and letters. We know that you are trying to make the right decision for you and your baby. We hope that you will give us the precious opportunity to love and raise your baby.
From my heart (Joy), I want you to know that allowing us to adopt your baby would make our family complete. I know that there is another little miracle out there that we are suppose to know, love, and raise as our child. We ARE great parents. And we can keep our promise to you that your baby would have the best care in everyway. Our love and prayers are already with you. We look forward to our relationship with you and your baby.
Sincerely,
David, Joy, Alexis, and Jillian
