Dear Birth mother,

Our names are Josh and Kelly. We want to thank you so much for taking the time to view our profile and learn a little bit about us, our marriage and our family. We admire your determination to find the perfect home for your baby and hope that you find just what you are looking for! We understand that as you read this letter you are considering or have already considered the wonderful gift of adoption. As a family that has grown through adoption we understand the choices you face. We admire your strength, courage and the love that you are showing by considering adoption for your unborn, precious child.

We are so very excited to be able to adopt again. Our son Ethan is such a blessing to our family and was brought to us through adoption. It comforts us to know that he will have a sibling that is brought into our family the same way. We are so looking forward to having another special child in our home and in our lives.

When we think of you our emotions are overwhelmed. We understand that you are faced with a decision that will be one of the biggest of your life and we feel blessed to be apart of that. We want you to know that we are a family of love and support, and that your child will grow up in a family that has experienced adoption, understands it and believes it to be a blessing and privilege. We will provide a beautiful home for your baby filled with stability, security, unconditional love, kindness and happiness. Your child will be with a family that adores him or her. A good education for our children is very important to us. Our children will be attending a private school that is one of the top rated within our state. They will be provided with structure and framework so that they will be able to realize their fullest potential and where nothing will be out of reach.

We have firsthand knowledge of the decision that you are facing today. Ethan's birth mother was faced with that same decision and chose to place Ethan with us. While she admits this was hard for her as she reflects back she also says that it was the best decision she has ever made. She is a strong, loving, courageous, and selfless women and we love her so much. Ethan is with a family who cherishes him and she is in a position to care for her other children and allow for them to have a future.

We feel so blessed that you are considering us as your baby's adoptive parents. There will always be a special place in our hearts for you, the person who will give us the gift of family. Our Family Begins We met in January of 2000 through friends. Fourteen months later April 14, 2001 we were married. From the beginning of our marriage it was our desire to begin a family, with excitement we planned for a child. To our surprise after one year, we still were unsuccessful. In dealing with the unsuccess of conceiving, we realized that adopton is the way we were meant to build our family.

Fast forward to August 25, 2004 after years of waiting the Lord brought Ethan's birth mother into our lives. God used this special women to grow our family and forever our lives will be intertwined. Our family has been blessed by her, and through her, we have our son. Ethan was born January 27, 2005, we were blessed to be there at the birth and hold him that same day. Ethan has been a blessing to us and we thank God everyday for Ethan and for his birth mother who made the decision that we were the right family for her son.

Today, we patiently await the Lord to provide our family with another miracle, another child that He has set aside to be our child and Ethan's sibling. We know that our family is not yet complete and that someone special, like you, will help grow our family. We hope we are the perfect match for you!

Meet Our Family Our Home . . . .

We built our home four years ago. Josh contracted the building of our home that we custom designed. The location is ideal for us, it is a quiet community called the "Lake Country" . Our land/lot is one of my favorite parts of it all. We live on a private cul de sac which is very safe for children to ride bikes and scooters and run around. There are 10 homes around the cul de sac and it's filled with children. The back of our house is all wooded, so we see all kinds of animals when we look out our back yard. We live very close to our little town we are in. We usually walk there daily in the spring and summer time. There is a bike trail that leads to our town and we love the exercise and we usually get ICE CREAM at the ice cream shop! There are a couple restaurants and a very popular park in the town we live in. It is a wonderful place to live and raise a family.


Joshua . . . .

Joshua is an extremely loving and supportive person. He is so friendly and has a positive effect on the people he touches. He is very intelligent and very successful in his job. Josh is an Operations Manager for a local company.

Josh is the oldest of 7 children, yes seven and comes from a loving home. He grew up with siblings and always had someone to hang out with. Josh enjoys being active and some of the things he enjoys to do are downhill skiing, water skiing, hiking, biking working out, reading and going on walks with the family. Josh is a leader by nature and enjoys all aspects of being the head of our family. He grew up in a family business. His father taught him how to be a hard worker and how to have good work ethic in whatever he does in live. Josh is also very handy, he built our beautiful home. He is always helping a friend or a family member move or anything they need and always has a smile on his face.

Josh is a wonderful husband and a hands on father that expresses his love for Ethan. From the moment that we met, my entire outlook on life changed. Josh has had such a positive influence on me by being someone to lean on with absolute trust and confidence which has made life better. He has taught me not to always take life so seriously, and to make time for the fun parts of life. Josh and I trust and respect each other and are best friends.


Kelly . . . .

Kelly is a wonderful human being that has so much love to offer. She gives me so much unconditional love and support that I feel as if I can attempt anything I put my energies toward. We both have so many goals and dreams but our biggest has been to grow our family.

Kelly is the middle of three siblings and comes from a loving home. Kelly's best friends are her two sisters. Growing up Kelly was very active and involved in sports as well as church activity. She grew up participating in gymnastics, cheer leading and many other social activities. Kelly spent three months in Central America serving the needs of children in a summer camp and has a passion for children which makes her an amazing mother to Ethan. She has always been around children of all ages. She started babysitting when she was 12 years old and then nannied for 8 yrs. She is a wonderful wife, has a nurturing heart and brings joy to the family. Kelly is a STAY AT HOME MOM and loves every minute of it. She has Ethan on a great schedule throughout the week. In the mornings Kelly and Ethan usually read together and do flash cards. She loves to teach Ethan because he enjoys it and he is a sponge. It is Ethan's favorite time of the day, the one on one with mom. Then we do something fun, like go to the Milwaukee zoo, go to his favorite park 5 minutes away from our house or spend time with friends or his cousins.


Ethan . . . .

Ethan is a joy to be around. He has a passion for life and is full of energy and excitement. He is almost four and can read, write, count to 100 and knows his ABC's. He is very bright and gifted in many things. Some of his favorite things to do are play with his cousins & his little dog, play "memory game" with us (which he wins half the time!) play with his trucks, balls and anything else that he can use imagination with. Ethan is very excited to be a big brother and is looking forward to having a sibling he can spend time with.

Our Values . . . . Faith . . . We attend a small church and are actively involved with different ministries within our church. We attend church weekly. We teach Ethan that he can have a relationship with God through Christ. Ethan has an amazing gift for memorizing bible verses. Our faith is the glue that will always keep us together during times of trial and times of celebration.


Family . . . We believe that family is one of the most important things in life and our time together is so special. Our extended family is very large, Ethan has 13 cousins that he gets to play all the time. We feel like there is a family gathering all the time, but we love it! Birthdays and holidays are a very important times for us to spend with our family. We all live within 15 minutes of each other, which allows for Ethan and our future children to have a relationship with the extended family. We teach Ethan that it is important to support each other and that no matter what your family will always be behind you.


Marriage. . . From the beginning of our marriage we knew that one of the best gifts you can give your children is to have a healthy marriage. We both believe our marriage is important and that we need to put time and energy into our relationship. We both look forward to our Friday date nights. We are best friend's and love spending time together, make each other laugh, and communicating. We believe communication is so important to each other and that's what allows our marriage to grow. We each have our own unique interests and support each other in those areas. We recognize that our commitment to each other is also a commitment to God and to our family. We have the same goals for our family which include, a love and respect for God, each other and to be a positive influence in the lives of others. Our values are the same and we do our best to be an example to Ethan through our actions.


Parenting . . . . We believe in parenting through love and example. We express our love and support to Ethan everyday and because of that he has confidence and security in our family. We are very affectionate and give plenty of hugs and kisses expressing our love. We teach him that he is accountable when he makes decisions both right and wrong. Ethan is also taught responsibly and has to clean up after himself, help with his dog. Ethan enjoys being a helper to mom and sets the table and he enjoys helping dad out in the yard or on some other project. We teach Ethan about money and that he should save some, give some and keep some for what he wants.


There are many other values we hold in high esteem some include, service to others, integrity, self worth, character, honesty, hard work and education to name a few. We believe that service to others and sound character go a long way and will teach this through our example to our children. By loving our children unconditionally we know that they will have confidence, self worth and the ability to love others in the way they were loved.
