If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother...
Hello! Thank you for visiting our profile and for considering the loving choice of adoption. We know that you must have a lot to think about right now. We understand and honor that you are considering adoption because you want what is best for your child. We want you to know that we are here to listen to and support you in any way that we can.
We hope that you will be able to learn a little bit about who we are and what we value through reading our letter. We believe that families are created through love, and that we have a lot of love to share--with a child and with you!
Who We Are...
We met on a blind date 9 years ago and have been married for almost seven wonderful years. We love going through life together as a team. We are each other's best friends. We never let a day go by without saying, "I love you." We believe in our hearts that we were meant to become parents through adoption.
We live in a beautiful, family-filled neighborhood just minutes away from excellent schools, parks, and playgrounds. We want to give a child the very best of everything. Most importantly, we want to give a child a loving home with two parents who will always be there for him or her.
We want to give our child every opportunity to succeed in school and life. We will encourage our child's interests, learning, and gifts every day. While a good education is something that we value and want for our child, what matters most to us is that our child is happy and knows how much he or she is loved by you and by us.
FROM MYRON... I (Myron) can’t wait to be a dad! People who know me say that I am a kind-hearted, patient, and generous person. I treasure the time I spend with our friends and family. I am passionate about sports--and can’t wait to teach our child how to play (or at least how to watch!) basketball, baseball, and soccer. I love playing on the playground with our nieces and friends’ children. I work in the technology field as a project manager, and am looking forward to helping our child with math homework and showing our child the wonders of technology! Our niece Claire says that I am the best uncle in the whole entire world. I want to become the best daddy in the whole entire world, too!
FROM ANN... I (Ann) have learned so much about what it takes to be a great mom from being an elementary school teacher and an aunt. I have had a lot of experience teaching and working with children of all ages. I can't wait to become a mom and be our child's "first" teacher! I have hundreds of children’s books in our home—and can’t wait to read my favorite books with our child. I teach reading and writing in a great elementary school, and want our child to have the best education possible. I am passionate about music and have played the piano since I was a little girl. I would love to teach our child to play the piano or just appreciate lots of different kinds of music. I am so excited about becoming a mom!
Our Family and Careers
Our child would be welcomed into the generous, loving, and supportive circle of family and friends who are in our lives. Most of our family and friends already have children, and they all say we will be great parents. The moments we treasure the most are the ones we share with our friends and family.
We enjoy our careers, but parenthood is our priority! We will both be able to give our child the time, attention, and energy he or she deserves. Our child will always come first and we can't wait to dedicate our lives to raising a child. Ann always has the summer months off from work, and we both plan to take time off from work after we become parents. We are fortunate to have flexible work schedules so that we can put our child's needs above all else.
Our Interests
We enjoy going to parks, concerts, plays, movies, restaurants, book stores, and ball games together. We like to play putt-putt and go bowling. We love traveling as a family and treasure the time we spend at the beach and in New York each summer. When we are home, we enjoy listening to music, reading, watching movies and sports, walking around our neighborhood with our sweet dog (his name is Poonkie), hiking along the Eno River, and just spending time together. There are so many wonderful things to see and do in this world that we would love to share with a child!
We believe that everything happens for a reason and that adopting a child will be the greatest blessing and gift we will ever receive. We hope you will visit the other pages of our profile to get to know us better.
