About Us A little about Liz:

I am the youngest of five children. I have two brothers and two sisters. My family has always enjoyed spending time with one another and now that we are all married and in various parts of the country, we look forward to getting together whenever we can. Growing up we enjoyed going camping and on vacations in our camper. Some of my favorite things to do while growing up was roller-skating and riding my bike around the neighborhood with my friends and family. We loved to sleep outside on our trampoline and play night games. As an adult I still love to get together with friends and family and play games, go on vacations and just hang out.
My parents taught me that I could do and become anything I wanted. They also taught me the importance of work and of serving others. Most importantly they laid the foundation of my faith. We all helped with the chores in and out of the home and served those around us. I developed a love of the arts, music and nature. I enjoy playing the piano and organ and have attempted to learn the violin. I enjoy listening and singing to all types of music and it’s not uncommon for me to make up my own lyrics. I enjoy the outdoors and love to ride my bike, go for walks, hike and be with my family.

A little about Todd:

I was the second oldest of four with two sisters and one brother. I was raised in a peaceful and religious family with loving parents. We spend lots of time as a family on vacations and supporting each other in our various activities.
I always had a fascination with architecture and architectural drawings. I attended Architecture school after serving and LDS mission to Asuncion Paraguay. It was during that time that I married Liz, and thanks to her support and help, I was able to graduate with my masters and I am currently working at a prominent architecture firm. I enjoy anything relating to architecture, especially traveling to various cities. I also enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, biking and really doing anything outdoors or anything dealing with electronic gadgets, like computers.

A little about Sydney:

I am nine years old. I enjoy playing the piano, dancing, reading and playing soccer. I love school. I love to visit my grandmas and grandpas and cousins. I like to go on trips with my family. I like to ride my bike with my friends and family. I like to play games. I am so excited that I get to learn cursive this year at school.
Our Lives Together How we met:

Todd and I met in High School but only went on one date with each other. We were good friends throughout High School. After Todd returned from his mission we ended finding each other through some college friends. We then resumed our friendship and dated for 9 months. Our friendship progressed and we were soon engaged. We were then married and are still best friends.

Our interests and lifestyles:

As a family we enjoy playing board games, riding our bikes, hiking and basically spending time together. We enjoy supporting each other at our various activities, whether it is attending a soccer game or attending a dance recital. We feel it is important to be involved with every aspect of our child’s life. Liz spends lots of time volunteering at the Elementary School. She has been a class helper, substitute teacher, PTO president and now helps with teacher appreciation. Todd loves to attend parent teacher meetings and when they have a special dads luncheon. We stress how important education is, not only temporal education, but spiritual education as well.

Liz’s feelings about Todd:

I could fill the page with all the attributes that Todd possesses. He is patient and kind and works hard so we can have the comforts that we enjoy. Although he is hard working he makes family a top priority. As a father, he makes sure that he is involved in our daughter life, through dance recitals, homework assignments, and comforting when she is blue. He loves children and children love him. He is a peacemaker and is quick to forgive others. I am truly blessed to have a loving husband who treats me like a queen, and our daughter like a princess.

Todd’s feelings about Liz:

I consider myself lucky to have such a wonderful wife. What a beautiful and choice daughter of God. I have never met someone so caring of others. She always puts others at the top and has to be forced to make time for herself. This makes her a great mom. We felt early on that it was important for her to be home for our daughter, and she has done just that. She makes our home a happy place and makes sure everything is in order. Another thing I love about Liz is how deeply she feels things. She has a great spirit and is very dedicated. She always keeps me on my toes and makes sure we as a family makes the right choices. I honestly don’t know where we would be without her. I learn to love her more and more each day.
Our Feelings About You It’s amazing how much love you can feel for someone you have never met or know little about. We do know how mature and courageous you are for the decision you are making. We know it is not without sacrifice especially on your part. We realize how hard this may be, but we want you to know we will work just as hard to make sure that any child in our home will feel loved and wanted. Nothing has brought us more joy than being around children and watching them grow-up. Sydney is very excited to have a brother or sister. Send us a message
