DEAR BIRTHPARENT(S) “EVERY CHILD IS A STORY YET TO BE TOLD”


Hi, we are Jeff and Diana and we want to thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We can only imagine the difficult decision you are faced with and truly admire your courage, selflessness and desire to do what you feel is best for you and your baby. We hope the words that follow will help you better understand who we are and the kind of life that we will give your child.

Becoming adoptive parents we understand the responsibilities we will have in being parents to your child. We believe that it is important to be open and honest with your child regarding her adoption. We are patient and loving and will be especially so when answering your child’s questions regarding adoption. Your actions show you to be strong, unselfish and loving and that is how we would positively present you to your child.

ABOUT US Our love for golf brought us together. Although we met in Florida, we both grew up in Ohio where our families live a half hour apart. We met when Diana was vacationing at a Golf Resort in Florida where Jeff so happened to be working at. It was an instant connection. We were married almost five years ago surrounded by family and friends. We feel our lives have been eventful and fulfilling. We have known both joys and sorrows all of which have helped shape us into the people we are today. We are grateful for all that we have together: a strong marriage, a supportive network of friends and family, our amazing dog Jag and rewarding careers. The only piece that is missing is a child to parent and love.

OUR LIVES ALL ABOUT DIANA (BY JEFF):
It is often difficult to write about someone you love, but with Diana it is easy because I want people to know about her. Diana is very compassionate about people and the things she loves. I have no doubt Diana will put 100 percent into raising a child. Her attention to detail is vital in being a good parent. Diana keeps me and our family organized. She has a big heart and strong character .I am proud of what Diana has overcome in her life and all that she has achieved. Diana I know she will continue to take life as it comes. I believe Diana gives me balance that I need in my life and I believe I do the same for her. Diana herself is well balanced, she enjoys sports, exercising, reading, music, shopping, movies, dancing with the stars and a little cooking. Just a little, hey we are not all perfect. When it comes to decorating and design of our home, it is perfect. Diana’s favorite time of the year is Christmas; she does all the decorating and buys all the presents. Attention to detail she never misses anything. Diana is very trustworthy and dependable. She has been in the healthcare business for over 15 years and takes pride in her work and the people’s lives that she has helped over the years. Diana love animals and gives her spare time as a volunteer at the Humane Society and Hospice. Diana is very driven and motivated when things are important to her or her family. Over the years she has treated her niece and nephews like her own children and it is no doubt she will be a wonderful mother. There is no other person I would want to take this journey with.

ALL ABOUT JEFF (BY DIANA):
I can not imagine my life without Jeff. He is a loving, supportive husband whose positive attitude gives me the courage to pursue my dreams. As a person and a couple he makes me feel we can do anything we set our minds to. He is very sincere, yet knows how to make me laugh. He has such a laid-back easy going personality that raising a child will be a welcoming challenge for him. Jeff is a very active, adventurous person. He enjoys the outdoors. He is an avid sports fan participating and observing many sports from football to biking. He as been active in our community youth golf camps for the past 10 years. Jeff is very giving of his time to his students, family and friends. I am so excited and proud of the father he is going to be.

OUR HOME We live on a safe family-friendly street in southwest Florida. It is common to see families and their pets walking, biking and rollerblading. Our home is spacious with a pool and huge fenced in yard ready for kids to play. We have a community park close by and a new school built in the last 3 years.

OUR PROMISE:

We truly feel adoption is the path that God has chosen for us. We are excited and eager to become parents so that we can give a child all of our love and affection. We will raise you child with unconditional love, support, guidance and encouragement. We will provide a stable home environment and the best education possible. We promise to be strong role models for your child. We look forward to celebrating birthdays, holidays, playing sports, going on vacations and everything else both big and small with your child.
