Trey & Christy are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthparents,

Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Our names are Christy and Trey. We are very excited to be going through this adoption process. We are eager to adopt a child to love and to adore with all our hearts and provide a loving and stable home for the rest of our lives.

We know that you must be going through a difficult process, but your selflessness is much admired. Your child will know just how much you loved him or her because of your decision in choosing adoption.

We have experienced adoption first hand in our own lives. Trey and his sister were adopted from Gladney, and we have many friends who have adopted both domestically and internationally. The joy and happiness that adoption has brought to their lives is something we dream about for our future as well.

We met six years ago through a mutual friend and never looked back. In 2005 we married overlooking the ocean while surrounded by our family and friends. Being that we both love the ocean and love to deep sea fish, we plan our vacations around the water and on our boat. We also love to have get togethers at our house, cook out and entertain. Going to local sporting events like football, hockey, and baseball is something we enjoy as well as watching our nephews compete in these same sports. We both like to exercise and try to do something athletic every day. Walking our beloved dog Brownie is one of the favorites on our list. We have a fun and active life together whether we are on the go or just relaxing at the house.

We bought our house in 2006 and remodeled it from top to bottom, then moved in a year later. It is in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful parks nearby. Lots of young kids live on our street and we have great schools as well. All that is missing in our beautiful home is a baby and then it would be complete.

It is important for you to know that we have not chosen adoption as a last chance, but as an alternative. Because we are aware of how rewarding adopting can be, is why we are here now. Trying to have a baby of our own was never successful, but being pregnant just made our desire to be parents even stronger. Regardless if our child was born biologically or not, we knew we wanted to be parents.

We are blessed to have many great friends and family close by. Both our families and friends are very supportive and excited about our decision. We have three wonderful grandparents who live very close to us and are excited to have another addition to our growing family. We have six nieces and nephews in our family and everyone is eager for another bundle of joy to arrive. Our friends are all parents and they love to tease us that we need to “hurry and catch up!”

Both of us knew from the beginning that we were meant to be together. That was one of the perks of meeting later in life; you kind of know what you are looking for in a life partner.

Trey is one of the most loving people that I know. His heart is as big as they come and he always puts everyone else before himself. He can’t wait to be a father and he is going to be a loving, kind and fun father.

Christy is a sweet and loving wife. She loves to take care of me and our home. Every morning she makes me breakfast and packs my lunch for work. Luckily for me, she loves to cook so we get home made dinners almost every evening also. She is so excited about becoming a mother and I know that she is going to be great at it. Christy treats our dog Brownie like she is a little person while taking her along on errands and all the while talking to her.

Together we are ready to provide a loving, caring, stable fun home for a child. We both thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so courageous and assisting in helping us to fulfill our wish to complete our family. We hope you will consider us as potential parents.
