Patrick & Leslie are hopeful adoptive parents from Massachusetts waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent Dear Birthparent,
Our names are Pat and Leslie and we are honored that you are willing to learn more about us in consideration of allowing us to adopt your baby. Your decision to pursue adoption is one of great impact to you, your baby and to the family that you will choose. It is with great admiration that we come to you to express our desire to be the family you choose. We respect your unselfish desire for the best opportunities to come for your baby.

We met 11 years ago at college. Pat was the Assistant College Baseball Coach and Leslie was the Athletic Trainer for the baseball team. We essentially worked together for 3 months before realizing that we had become best friends. We were inseparable. Finally, one day our friends implied that maybe we were more than just friends and the light bulb went off…of course we were! Three years later we got married and are still inseparable and are each other’s best friend. A few years after we got married and bought our first house, we decided to start a family. We are blessed to have a wonderful little boy, Logan, who is 5 years old. Logan brings immense joy to our lives. Logan is a very kind child, well liked by his friends and family, and makes everyone around him smile. He has many cousins ranging in ages from 4 months-12 years old and loves spending time with them. We are very much looking forward to Logan being a “big brother.” His gentle, kind and loving personality will embrace his new little sister or brother.
Pat, Leslie and Logan Leslie

Leslie is a strong, sincere, smart and most of all loving wife, Mom, daughter, sister and friend. Leslie is the youngest of two children. Leslie learned many of her values and beliefs through her upbringing. Leslie has never shied away from hard work. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide during college, and later used her skills with the elderly as an aquatics therapist at an Assisted Living Facility. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the Health field. She was the Director of Wellness at a major Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan for seven years before expanding to a Sales Executive position at a software company servicing Health Plans throughout the country. Leslie works from home, allowing her a very flexible schedule to spend time with her family. Leslie has always been an avid swimmer and enjoys going for walks and spending time with her family and friends.

Pat

Pat is an enthusiastic, fun loving, and wonderful Dad, husband, brother and son. Pat comes from a large family, being the second oldest of 5 siblings. Pat is an incredibly good athlete, having been scouted by the minor leagues for baseball in high school and college. He also excels in academics and business.

Pat owns his own company, which allows him to make a comfortable living while also being a stay at home Dad during the day to Logan. He is very active in his community and in Logan’s preschool, swimming lessons and other events. Pat’s personality is one of kindness, patience, nurturing and self motivation.

Logan

Logan is a happy, funny, energetic and kind little boy. He is very active in preschool activities, swimming and playing with his friends. Logan enjoys reading books, learning how to spell words and playing with his cars. He also loves playing board games, which we do together as a family every day. Logan has lots of close friends that he sees every week at school and on play dates. Logan has also shown a lot of empathy from a very young age. He cares very much for other people. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives!

Our Home We live in a neighborhood of about 20 houses. Our house is a Gambrel/Cape style with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, sun room and huge play room. We have a great fenced in back yard with a pool and plenty of outdoor toys! We live close to several parks, including a small zoo, sports activities, local events and church. We often visit the Children’s museums, aquariums, zoos, and state parks and beaches in our area.

More important than the physical attributes of our home is what is inside. We have a very welcoming, warm home that our friends and family feel comfortable visiting often! We really enjoy having people over to visit, watch a football game, go swimming, or just join us for a meal. Our home is full of love from us and all of the important people in our lives.
Thank You We believe that the little things matter and as such putting in the extra effort to make homemade baby food, reading lots of books and limited television. We decided to care for Logan at home versus at day care and will do the same with our new baby. We have worked our schedules such that Pat is home during the day with Logan. Pat owns his own company and thus his hours are very flexible. Leslie works from home and also has a flexible schedule allowing her more time with her family.

It would be our privilege to share our lives with your baby and provide a loving home full of happiness and values. We understand how important this decision is and welcome the opportunity to meet you at your convenience.
Thank you so much for considering us and we hope that you find the adoptive parent match you think will be perfect for your baby!

Warmest Regards,
Pat, Leslie and Logan
