Brett & Julia are hopeful adoptive parents from Oregon waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Our Story
We have been married for 6 years. We met at a singles ward in California and we spent every day together from our first date to the day we got married. Almost from the very beginning we talked of having a family, and couldn’t wait to become mom and dad. We have been trying to have a baby for 5 ½ years. We have seen several doctors and gone through tests and inseminations with no success even though the doctors can’t find anything wrong. After the second failed insemination we were told the next step would be invitro. For some reason invitro never felt right for us. We just feel that there is a child out there that is meant to come to us. As much fun as we’ve had with just the two of us traveling and trying new things, we are more than ready to settle down and raise children.
Our Plan
We want to give a child as many opportunities as possible. I will be a stay at home mom and we will give all the hugs and kisses needed, lots of laughter, friends and cousins to play with, sports and many other things to learn and discover. Julia teaches piano lessons, and Brett has coached football, so music and sports will always be a big part of our lives. We are very affectionate people, and there will be no doubt for this child that he/she is loved. We plan on being completely honest about the adoption from the very beginning. As for our discipline, we have to confess, we watch Super Nanny. We plan to use many of her techniques; warnings, time out chair, daily routines, and being loving, positive, and consistent. And of course, we’ll all learn along the way.
