Tom & Sarah are hopeful adoptive parents from Kansas waiting to adopt a baby.

About Us We are very happy to tell you about ourselves and our lives. Our names are Tom and Sarah. We are very happily married and have a lot of fun together. We found great strength in our relationship over the past several years trying to start a family, and are now very glad to pursue this wonderful opportunity. Before we get too much further, we want to thank you for considering us by reading this letter and we very much respect and value your time and dedication.

Our Home and Work We live on a farm in a rural area that is situated between two decent sized cities. We have the best of both worlds living out in the country and being near two cities that offer shopping, activities, educational opportunities and entertainment. We feel like we live in an amazing place to raise a child with the large yard and fields to play in and the city nearby for child activities with friends and family. Tom works for his brother’s printing company and has been with the company over 10 years. The company is doing good business and Tom is in a leadership position in the company. Sarah works for a University as an administrator, instructor, and psychologist. Sarah worked for several years a a children’s hospital and has always had a strong interest in working with children and continues to do so. Sarah and Tom are also very fortunate to have flexibility in their work and would both be able to take time off and be able to work out a schedule that would meet the baby’s needs.

Our Family & Friends Sarah is a twin and her twin brother lives nearby. Her nephews are frequent visitors and ride horses over to our place on a regular basis. Sarah’s dad and step-mother live nearby also and so grandparents are very supportive. Tom’s father and brother’s family live nearby as well and Tom’s brother is often a helper on many of our home improvement projects. Our nieces on Tom's side of the family have 7 children between them and 3 of them are triplets! We have a lot of holidays we all spend together with extended family on both sides. Sarah’s sister and her husband have two adopted children and they visit several times a year from the East coast. We also have many friends with babies and young children who live nearby and would love to start having our child spend time with them. We spend time with friends playing sports, barbecuing, and enjoying activities at the lake. Our pets are also an important part of our family. We have a dog and cats that love to play and are very friendly

What We Enjoy Tom and Sarah enjoy a lot of sports including softball, golf, basketball, volleyball, camping, and fishing. Tom enjoys working on projects around the house and he and Sarah have done most of the home improvement on their farm house restoration. Sarah enjoys reading and baking. She would really enjoy sharing some family traditions like making peanut butter balls and fudge on the holidays with a little one. We take vacations and have visited many places in the U.S. to site see, hike and take in local history and museums.
