Jason & Jennae are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Meet Jennae and Jason We are out-door enthusiasts, at least when it’s not bitter cold out. Jennae loves going for walks and we both enjoy a nice long hike or bike ride. We even like to go rock climbing and, fortunately for us, our gym has a climbing wall and a pool.

We love trying out new restaurants and can’t pass up a good movie. Jason’s parents must see about half of all the new big releases in the theatre and when schedules allow, we love hanging out with them.

We love trying new things and visiting new places. Each year we look forward to a nice vacation to somewhere warm, with a beach. Throughout the rest of the year, we try and have a few activities planned out each month. From city museum trips and camping out at nearby forest preserves, to Wisconsin cheese runs and wine tasting, we like a lot of variety in our lives.

We both consider ourselves life-long learners. Jennae is an avid reader and visits the library at least once a week to pick up new books and get some creative writing done. Jason keeps up on the news and politics and if he has a question always seeks out the answer. We both are excited about sharing this love of learning with a little one and exposing them to all different types of culture.
Our Family We are looking forward to welcoming your child into our family. We’re open to any level of communication with you, your extended family and friends after the initial adoption. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

Both of us grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs and had pretty typical childhoods. Jason has one brother, Shane, who lives in the area and is a big kid at heart. He is looking forward to being an uncle. His father is excited about hearing the pitter patter of little feet again. You see, Jason’s mom worked as an in-home childcare provider throughout Jason’s childhood. And up until a few years ago when she officially retired, there were always kids running through the house. Jason grew up changing diapers, warming bottles, and cuddling fussy kids. He is a deeply sincere and loving man with tons of space in his heart for a son or daughter.

Jennae is an only child and thus a little spoiled. Her father lives out in the country about thirty minutes away. He works out of his home and is close to retiring. Over the years he’s picked up lots of hobbies and is excited about opening up his home to a grandchild.
A little about us Job wise, we are both stable in our careers. Jason has been working in the graphic arts and printing industry for about ten years now. That’s actually how we met. Jennae started off in customer service and worked her way up to manager of the whole accounting and billing department. She plans on working part-time, very early in the morning, so that she would be home in time for Jason to leave for his job. Our goal is to never have the need for childcare. Of course, we welcome all of the help our families are aching to provide.

Jennae has a large extended family in the area with lots of cousins, aunts and uncles who are all super supportive and excited for us. We’ve recently had two new additions to the family. And, coincidently, our cousins are also in the very early stages of adoption. Jennae’s cousin, Gina, was adopted over thirty years ago and has been a great friend and confidant throughout this whole adventure.

And of course there’s Violet, our perfect little angel of a cat. She is a wonderful cuddle-buddy to come home to.
Wrap-up Recently we’ve been spending lots of time working on projects around the house. We had our home custom built and think it suits us just perfect. There are lots of rooms for our family to grow into. Jason is the designer in the family and has already started planning out how the child’s room will be decorated.

If you’d like, we’d love to include you in some of these activities. We will respect any level of communication that you’re comfortable with. We want nothing more than to embrace this opportunity to extend our family. We have a perfect place in our home for a child.
