Jadie & Jennifer are hopeful adoptive parents from Nebraska waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparents, As we sit and try to put our thoughts and hearts onto paper we struggle with the words to say. Nothing seems quite adequate in comparison with this amazing sacrifice that you are currently making. We so pray that you have not felt alone during this trying time in your life. Please remember that you are truly a child of a loving Heavenly Father, and he wants you to be able to have joy in your life. We pray daily that you will have comfort and peace through the challenges that you are facing. Adoption is such an amazing miracle and blessing. Just hearing the word “adoption” melts our hearts and brings us a sense of true happiness. We are grateful and excited for this opportunity to be blessed with another little miracle.

Ever since we brought our son Kimball home, our lives have been forever changed - for the better of course! We can’t even imagine life without him, nor would we want to. There is never a dull moment. He is such a busy boy and is so full of energy and life. He also has such a love and gentleness for babies. If there is a baby near you can bet that Kimball will be sitting near them with the biggest smile on his face. He talks often about having a little brother or sister. We are humbled often at the act of selflessness that was shown by Kimball’s birth mother. We had the sweet experience of getting to know her and her family both before placement and after. We still stay in touch with her and love her for this wonderful gift that she has given to us.

We know that this life is an amazing journey. There will be joy and pain, happiness and sorrow, laughter and even some tears. We promise that no matter how hard this time in your life has been there is light at the end of the tunnel. You are loved by so many people. Even people like us that you don’t even know. We love you for your strength and desire to do what is right at this time in your life. We admire you for the choice you have made to be where you are right now. Please know that we want you to be truly happy and to find the joy in your life that you deserve. You will be forever in our hearts and prayers.
A Little About Us... We met through our church Young Single Adults program. We were in different cities, but got together for dances and firesides. Within the first week of dating we were both pretty sure that we would end up getting married. Six weeks later we were engaged and 3 months after that married in the Denver, Colorado Temple. Jennifer had always said that she wanted to wait a year before we started to have a family. After being married for 4 months we both decided that we loved each other so much and wanted to bring a baby into our family. It was shortly there after that we found out that we wouldn't be growing our family the way that most people do. That was so very hard emotionally because it is just never something that you plan on happening. We then decided that We didn't care if our babies grew in Jennifer's tummy because we knew that they were already grown in our hearts. That is when we decided that we would Adopt. Little did we know that God truly does meet our needs in unexpected ways!

Jadie
Jadie has a real love for playing games, especially trivia, watching movies, and basically anything else that stimulates the brain. Some of his most favorite activities include basically anything active with Kimball including going for walks around the neighborhood, jumping on the trampoline, playing Mr. Tickle Monster, and Kimball's personal favorite of "Chase me daddy...you can't catch me."

When he manages to have spare time he enjoys playing basketball, golf, and video games. A real kid at heart. For more relaxing pleasures he enjoys reading, board/card games, college football, and being around good friends.

Jennifer
Jennifer is the kind of person who loves to be around people and can talk easily to almost anyone. She loves to cook and feels quite at home in the kitchen. She also enjoys, scrapbooking, some sewing, reading, shopping, and even has a love for organization. She is a very detailed oriented person in almost everything that she does. You could actually say that she is basically a "jack of all trades." We built a home last year and Jennifer was the general contractor. That was quite an experience. Jennifer is also a Licensed Massage therapist and ran her own business for a couple of years before becoming a mom.

Jennifer and her Dad are partners in a photography business. She loves the artistic aspect of photography. She especially enjoys the opportunity for a creative outlet.

Lastly, Jennifer has an immense love for music. She loves just listening to a good CD, playing her guitar, or the sweet moments at night when she gets to sing Kimball to sleep!
Kimball... If someone were to tell us Kimball was Latin for “a curious ball of energy, joy, happiness, and love” we would believe it. Kimball came into this world very early on a June morning. We should have known this would be a sign….Kimball is a morning person. In many homes this would be a perfect fit, except ours. Neither my wife nor I are morning people. However, there is nothing greater than when a child comes and crawls in bed with you in the morning to snuggle and watch cartoons. This is Kimball. He loves to laugh, snuggle, hug, love, help, and most of all meet new people. Whether the person is someone he has known his entire life, or a stranger on the street he will carry on a conversation about everything and nothing. He helps remind us about how we should be to everyone. Kimball has this special ability to look past everyone’s differences including disabilities, age, and color. Each person is just another one Kimball can meet and talk about his day and ask about their dogs or their kids. He also has such an amazing joy for life. He loves to play in the dirt, wrestle with dogs, help mommy and daddy around the house, and think of new ways to be curious and a little mischievous. Kimball is truly the love and joy of our lives and we count each day such a huge blessing to have him as a part of our family.
Together Time... Something that comes to mind is " A Family that Plays Together, Stays Together." We realize that seems to sound so cliche, but we feel that it is so very true. The times that we spend together whether it is at home for movie night, with friends for game night(which is more often than not), going for a walk, or just a Sunday drive are the times that we spend making the memories that will last with our family forever. We love to just all be together. The more laughing and giggling the better.

Some other things that our family loves to do together is swimming at the pool, going on family vacations, playing at the park, and even just going out for dinner. Of course there is much time spent reading books, playing in the dirt, playing with tinker toys, and of course lots of hugs and kisses!

We hope that you have enjoyed getting to know us and we can't wait to get to know you. We are so very grateful for the selfless love that you have and want you to know that our hearts and prayers are with you always.

Much Love,
Jadie, Jennifer, and Kimball
