Dear Birthmother Hello….We’re Danielle & Brian,

Your concerns and feelings will be cared about by us. We’ll respect your privacy and give you space, yet be here for you when you want…as you figure out what to do.

During our 6 year marriage, we’ve tried becoming parents on our own…then through infertility treatments…and now we hope by…

Connecting with a birth mother or couple who’ll trust us to create an adoption plan.

We’ll begin a family tradition where our child will honor his or her birth family on the day that she selected us to be his or her parents.

About Us Time has gone so quickly…we began dating over 8 years ago.

Activities…
We love spending time together as much as when we first dated. We are homebodies at heart…yet also enjoy being outdoors. We take our canoe around local lakes and spend the day discovering new sights. We enjoy outdoor concerts in the summer and we go to the beach whenever possible. We enjoy going to baseball games, camping and hiking, movies (usually comedies or thrillers!), and out for dinner with friends.

About Brian by Danielle
Brian plays on the town softball league…he runs….and is a huge baseball fan, rooting for the New York Mets! He’s in sales and likes working with different people. He has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science. He’s a great uncle to our nephews and nieces.

About Danielle by Brian
She’ll become a stay-at-home mom once we become adoptive parents. Right now she is Marketing Account Executive. Her bachelor’s degree is in Communication.

She relaxes by reading, mostly non-fiction books....either biographies, true crime or about people who surmounted impossible odds....decorating our home…and baking cakes and cookies. I have a major sweet tooth so I like when Danielle surprises me with my favorite dessert…homemade chocolate eclair cake!

We imagine when our child and their friends run into our kitchen for warm brownies and cookies.

Our Home Our Relatives, Home, Town

Our Family….
They all live near us so we see them often! Dina, my awesome sister and, David, her husband are raising, Matthew, my 8-year old nephew and, Emily, my 5 year old niece. They enjoy when we take them to the park and run around with them. Matthew is big into baseball so Brian loves to throw the ball around with him. Emily is definitely a “girly-girl” and we have so much fun dressing up her American Girl dolls together.

Jim, Brian’s brother and Marie, his wife, are raising our 15 and 8 year old nephews, Kevin and John, and our 14 year old niece, Katie. It's amazing to see them grow up. Now that the two oldest are teenagers, we see them becoming independent and well-rounded. They are very much involved in after school activities like dance and soccer. We enjoy cheering them on at their games and attending other events with them.

Family holidays..
Every year a few weeks before Halloween, Brian and I host the annual family pumpkin carving for all our nieces, nephews and cousins! Brian picks out the biggest pumpkins possible and puts them out around our yard. The kids then race to find their favorite pumpkin and the adults help to carve their jack-o-lanterns! Christmas is also a big holiday for us! We decorate our house the weekend of Thanksgiving while listening to classic holiday songs and drinking hot cocoa! Because our families love the holidays as much as we do, we end up celebrating all season. With all the laughter and the kids playing games...it puts a smile on our faces every year.

Family vacations...
Every summer, we all rent a beach house together. It’s so much fun to be woken up by our nieces and nephews in the morning as they jump up and down in excitement for another day at the beach to begin! It will be great for our child to have cousins to hang out with.

Our home….
We turned our 2 bedroom ranch onto our spacious, yet cozy, 4 bedroom colonial…planning for our family. We wanted to stay in our community because it is great for children.

We did a lot of the work ourselves like sheet rocking, painting and some demolition. We really worked together to build our dream…although we’d experience set backs, we focused on our goal and finally achieved it. Our home has room for our child to grow in and invite their friends over for meals, sleepovers, parties….and in teen years to close their doors to listen to their music.

Our town….
We are surrounded by many children and happy families who are always outdoors and pop in every once in a while. Our home is near the elementary school, park and center of town. There are a ton of activities for children to do in the area. 3 playgrounds, a baseball field, soccer field and tennis courts are in one of the parks closest to our home. Several lakes are nearby where families can canoe and fish. We also have a great recreation program where the kids can join sports teams and take part in summer arts and crafts. We wonder what our child will like doing.

Adoption Relationship Thoughts We will love our child whom we adopt just as much as if we were able to conceive. It’s the everyday care that will bring us close. We’ll share his or her adoption story in loving ways as he or she grows.

If you honor us by selecting us after getting to know us… we promise you with all our hearts we’ll share a trusting relationship with you. We’ll create memories that will be told to your birth child if you place him or her with us.
