Birthmother Letter Dear Birth Parent(s) & Family,

We are grateful that you have taken the time to learn more about our family. It’s hard to know how to express ourselves and our feelings with just words, but we’re grateful you are contemplating adoption. We can't even imagine all of the emotions you must be going through right now and we admire you so very much for this decision. It truly is one of the greatest acts of love, to be willing to give your baby the best life possible, and it shows great maturity and selflessness.

We both felt strongly that we should turn to adoption to add to our family rather than expensive medical alternatives because, for us, it is not as important how children come to this Earth as it is to be a mother and father.

We plan to have a home full of love and acceptance that is based on trust and communication. To us, a home of love provides support and encouragement, safety and stability, laughter and happiness. Our home will be a place where individual talents are celebrated and all areas of learning will be encouraged. Our child will know how much you love them, and the sacrifice you made to bring them into our family.

We both feel strongly that there is a child out there who is meant to be in our family and we cannot wait to share our love, dreams, and goals with them.
