Important decision for you
Dear Birth Parents:
This is an important decision for you, and we understand that selecting a family to parent your child is one of the most difficult and imperative decisions that you will ever make. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to read our letter and for considering us for the role of being parents to your child. It takes a lot of courage and selflessness to take this step for your child.
Let us introduce ourselves to you; our names are Terry and Allison. We are best of friends and we support each other through every endeavor we partake in. We have known each other for over 3 years now, and we feel it was fate that brought us together as we initially were introduced by Allison’s sister, lost touch due to distance and then we were paired up again 2 years later. We feel blessed that fate finally brought us together for good, and we have been married for over a year now. Having children is important to us as we both feel that there is something missing in our lives that will enrich us greatly and provide a ‘completeness’ to our family.
Soon after our marriage we discovered visiting several different physicians that it was extremely risky for Allison to conceive and it would be a risk to her life. Therefore, the concept of adoption became the best alternative for us to fulfill our dreams of completing our family.
TERRY
I come from a family of six and I am the youngest. I have two loving parents and wonderful siblings. As a youth I took several jobs during high school (lawn mowing, working for farmers, McDonald’s) while also maintaining good grades. After high school graduation I attended South Dakota State University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering. After college graduation I accepted a position with Rockwell-Collins Avionics Corporation in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After several years with Rockwell I decided to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona after accepting a position with the Motorola Corporation as a Software Engineer. This change would allow me to enjoy the wonderful climate and abundant outdoor activities that Arizona has. After many years with Motorola, during a downturn in the electronic industry, I decided to accept a position with General Dynamics as a Senior Engineering Project Lead. I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my life, which is becoming a parent who understands the love a child can bring. My hope is the next chapter in my life will allow me to provide the same commitment and dedication as a father which I have given to my career.
ALLISON
I have a terrific family with two loving and giving parents, and three wonderful siblings. I come from a close family where we support each other always. Growing up I enjoyed participating in field hockey, and worked several part-time jobs and still maintained good grades. I graduated from The University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and became certified as an Ophthalmic Medical Technologist assisting Ophthalmologists in their Clinic. I have been working for the last 13 years for a Builder/Developer selling different developments for the company. I am now the Sales Manager for a Resort Community in Phoenix, Arizona and I am looking so forward to the NEW chapter in my life being a caring, loving mother to your child. I want to provide the same commitment I have had in my career to being a wonderful, nurturing and supportive parent to your child. I am looking forward to providing an array of experiences for the growth and development of your child, and allow them the ability to choose whatever activity they want to enrich their life.
Loving Couple who want to be loving parents
TERRY and ALLISON
As parents we have a lot to offer your child. We are a warm, caring and giving couple and we want to share these qualities with your child. We have so much deep love and support for eachother that we are anxious to share with a child. We also believe strongly in education, and we will be involved in their schooling. We work well co-ordinating our schedules, and we will share this skill with children. We work well as a team, and Allison will work part-time in her career in order to provide constant guidance, love and support throughout their childhood. Allison will be a stay at home mother for several years in order to provide the support, guidance and nurturing that a child requires during the initial years. We have siblings who have babies, and relatives with toddlers plus lots of aunts and uncles who are excited for us to welcome a new member to our family. Plus, with our large extended family there will be lots of support from them as well as constant love.
Should you select us to be the adoptive parents we want you to know that we will do everything we can to raise your child in a happy and safe environment. We want this child to know that it is loved by us and by you. Therefore, we value an open adoption. Thank-you for considering us. Please send us an e-mail at
