If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Hello Thank you for taking the time to learn about us! We are so thankful and excited that you have decided to take a look at our family. First, I want to thank you for choosing to give your baby life. God has a perfect plan for you and your baby. We pray that God will continue to guide you and support you in making a tough but unselfish decision.

Our names are Gerald and Elizabeth, we have been married for 9 years and we have a 3 year old son named Aidan. We live in an awesome community, which includes two play grounds and a walking trail. We are surrounded by mostly young families with small children. We love going to sporting events and hanging out with family and friends.
About Us Gerald and I met about 11 years ago through on a blind date by a mutual friend. We started dating shortly thereafter. After a year of dating, Gerald proposed to me, and I quickly said “yes”. We were married on May 20, 2000 on my birthday. After marriage, we decided that finishing our advance degrees was priority before starting a family. Gerald went back to college to work on his Master and Doctorate in Education, and I to complete my teacher certification, counseling certification and a 2nd Master. Of course, our dream has always been to have more children. We believed in our heart that God has led us to adoption. We are pursuing adoption at this time for a variety of reasons most importantly so that Aidan will have a brother or sister.

What would Elizabeth say about Gerald, Gerald was born in Dallas, Texas to the most thoughtful and loving parents. Gerald grew up in a Baptist family. He attended Skyline High School in the Dallas area and Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. After graduation, Gerald decided on a career in Education. Currently, Gerald is a High School Principal. He is very successful in his career. He has special relationship with his high school kids. Importantly, Gerald is a wonderful husband and father. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. He has shown so much commitment to his education, career and family. Aidan has such an awesome role model in his life as Gerald as his dad. Importantly, Gerald has such joy for life through laughter and play. The cup is never half empty but always half full with Gerald. Gerald enjoys playing golf, video games and reading books. He is so elated with thoughts of sharing his love for golf with his children. Gerald enjoys playing, teaching and exploring new things with Aidan. Gerald is an awesome dad and he is looking forward to sharing his love with another child.

What would Gerald say about Elizabeth, Elizabeth was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to wonderful, thoughtful, and caring parents. Elizabeth grew up in a Catholic household and was educated through catholic schools. Elizabeth was highly successful in high school and college. After college, Elizabeth started her career as a mental health counselor, but soon after meeting her soon to be husband she realized she wanted to work with children through education. Currently, Elizabeth is living her dream as a middle school counselor. She constantly brags about her days. She proclaims she is saving lives by helping students see the benefits of an education. Two qualities led me to realize she was the one I wanted to marry; it was her love of life and her compassion for all. Elizabeth is a wonderful spouse and mother. She has a special bond with Aidan and he always bring her books to read to him. Elizabeth enjoys cooking, being creative, and reading. Elizabeth is the best part of my mornings and evenings. I am truly blessed to have her as a wife and equally blessed to have Aidan as my son.

Aidan is a very special 3 year old boy. He love counting, singing his ABCs, reading books, running and laughing. Aidan love dogs, cats and fish. He love meeting new friends and playing with his daycare buddies. Aidan has such a huge heart and truly looks forward to sharing his world with his new brother or sister.

Our Home and Families Our extended family includes a grandfather (Gerald’s dad), two great grandmothers (Gerald’s grandmothers) and a grandmother (Elizabeth’s mother) several bothers, one sister, five nieces and ten nephews combined from both our families. Our family anxiously awaits our newest addition. We love huge celebrations and get together all throughout the year. We spend many occasions blending both our families together at birthday parties for Aidan, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We all celebrate together the many accomplishments of all the children via graduations, sporting events, weddings, etc. Our family is very rooted in religious values and belief. Our family looks forward to celebrating the gift of life of our new baby.
Closing Thoughts We would like to take this time to thank you for considering our family for your baby. We wish you the very best with your decision.

We would love to talk with you and are willing to discuss an open adoption. If you want to call us we would be so happy.
