Hello! Thank you very much for taking time to learn more about us! We have a tremendous amount of respect for you and your decision to make an adoption plan for your child. Our prayer is that God’s love will surround you during this journey and that you’ll have peace in your heart in the days ahead.

We are very excited and feel blessed to have the opportunity to add a child to our family through adoption. Each of us grew up in loving, supportive homes and we want to provide the same environment for our child. We want you to know that we are committed to providing a home that is full of love, laughter and family. Our desire is to provide a home that loves unconditionally and is supportive in helping your child thrive in whatever God’s will is for their life. Our friends and families are very excited and supportive of our desire to adopt and we feel adopting a child is God’s will for our lives.

About Us: We have been happily married for 11 years. We met while working together in college and we clicked from the very moment we met. Our friendship grew into a romance and we’ve been in love ever since! We love to hang out with each other and just enjoy each others company. Communication is important to us and we make it a priority to regularly set aside time during the week to laugh and talk. Whether it’s simply eating dinner, going out with friends or having a date night, spending time together is something we value. We both enjoy music and one of our favorite things to do is see our favorite bands live and in person. Traveling and making memories together is also a passion and we feel this is one of the best ways to share time together as a family. We have been blessed to travel to many locations and one of our favorite destinations is the beach. We have had an opportunity to see some amazing sights and we love sightseeing and exploring new places.

Family is also very important to us and we look forward to our family gatherings. Carl’s grandfather, parents and sisters live close and we see them on a regular basis. We love to celebrate birthdays and holidays together. Carl’s papaw is an amazing cook and everyone in the family looks forward to enjoying his meals (I wonder where Carl gets his passion for cooking). Christy’s parents live just a few hours away and we are able to visit them often as well. During our visits we have fun playing board and card games with the entire family. These gathering are famous for marathon sessions of dominos and trivia games.

The most important thing about us we could share with you is that we both have a passion for Christ and a strong desire to show his love by serving others. Over the years, God has blessed us in many ways and we have also developed relationships with some amazing friends through our church family. We serve as the Community Service Representatives for our class at church and have shared in many rewarding experiences while serving our community. In addition, we meet twice a month with 5 other couples who are a wonderful support system for our lives.

Carl Says...

Christy is truly a blessing from God. She is my best friend and I love spending time with her. She loves to have fun and is all about making the most of every moment while capturing memories along the way. She has an abundance of grace and is the most caring person I know. Family is more important to her than anything and I know without a doubt that she will make the perfect mother. Most importantly, she has a strong faith in Christ and loves to serve others. She truly cares about others and looks for opportunities to reach out to those in need. It’s amazing to see her compassionate heart in action. Christy works as a senior recruiter for a staffing company in which she helps people find employment. She enjoys her position because it provides an opportunity to help others.

Christy Says...

Carl is my best friend and I am blessed to be married to him. He is a kind, thoughtful husband and I know he will be an amazing dad. I love to watch him interact with our numerous nieces and nephews; they love their Uncle Carl. He never hesitates to play games or throw the ball with them. Carl works for an Advertising Agency as an Account Supervisor. He is very creative and loves to spend time away from work cooking, working in the yard, running with our dog Fred, writing and teaching at our Church. He has taught students for many years and currently teaches in an Adult Bible Fellowship class at our church.

We live in an adorable 3-bedroom, 2 bath house with hardwood floors and a nice size yard with great trees. There is plenty of room for a swing set and to play in the fresh air. Our house was newly built in 2000 and is within walking distance to the elementary, junior high and high school as well as the park and sports complex. Our neighborhood is very quiet with lots of friendly neighbors with children of all ages. We enjoy having street parties and cooking with our neighbors while all the kids play.

Always adding a smile to our day is our awesome dog, Fred. He is an 8 year old Weimaraner who has a fun loving personality. Fred is a gentle dog who loves to go for long walks, play in the yard, and most importantly, he loves to snuggle. He can’t wait for his favorite snack after dinner, popcorn. He is so great with our nieces and nephews and when they come over they can’t wait to play with Fred.

God has blessed our family in many ways and we hope that we have been able to show you that our hearts are prepared and excited about welcoming a child into our family.
