Bryon & Sydney are hopeful adoptive parents from Kansas waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Hello
Our names are Sydney and Bryon and we would like to thank you for taking the time to share our story.
We know you are getting ready to make some very big decisions. First let us say that we can't begin to explain how thrilled we are that you would consider us to parent your child. Nor can we fully understand what a selfless act you are considering.
We can only tell you that after years of infertility, we now believe our journey was always to become parents not by giving birth, but by becoming part of a bigger family through adoption.
We've spent endless hours trying to determine how best to share our story with you. We know that you will likely be introduced to other couples that have loving families, and who are longing to become parents. Our story may be much like theirs.
However, we hope that by learning more about who we are, and why we want so much to be parents, that you will find that we aren't just any other couple, but perhaps the "right" couple for you and your child.
Our promise to you is to be the best parents that we can be. We promise to love this child unconditionally, and to provide a playful and patient home in which to grow. We are so excited to meet you and hope you enjoy our story...
Who We Are...
We are a fun-loving couple in our 30's that have just celebrated our six year wedding anniversary. Sydney is in Marketing and Bryon is a Business Sales Manager for a large company. We began dating shortly after graduating from college and knew that we would have a wonderful life together. We have so much love to give and are completey committed to our future child. What a wonderful story we are about to write…
Our Interests...
Some of our favorite things to do together are cook and entertain our friends and family. Whether it’s the Summer BBQ Contest or dressing up in costumes to pass out Halloween candy, we try to find the fun in most everything! We also enjoy lazy days at home, making big breakfasts, watching movies or playing outside. We like to watch college basketball and listen to all kinds of music. Mostly, we just enjoy being together.
Sydney enjoys doing "girl things". She loves spending time with her family and her good girlfriends. She is the first to celebrate successes or offer a warm hug to whoever needs it. Her favorite activities are spending time with Bryon, playing with her nephew, decorating the house, volunteering, reading, and hot baths.
Bryon is full of life and enjoys almost everything. On the weekends he can be found outside gardening and landscaping. He is the "green thumb" in the family and grows the most beautiful plants, flowers, and vegetables. He enjoys watching all sports, but his favorite pastime is to play golf. He also likes to spend time in the kitchen cooking up new recipes. There is no doubt he will be a huge help when the baby arrives!
Bryon about Sydney...
From the first time I met Sydney, I had no doubt that I was about to spend my life with my very best friend. She is the most loving and caring person that I've ever met and makes even the hard days much brighter. She is thoughtful, kind and extremely funny. We have so much love in our marriage that is only makes sense that we share this love with another person. Sydney is so excited to become a mother and I know that our child will love her endlessly. It's impossible for those who know her not too...
Sydney about Bryon...
I have never felt better about any decision than to have a child with Bryon. He is such a fun person to be around and kids are just drawn to him. Our nephew and the neighborhood children love their "Uncle Bryon" and he's the first person to throw the ball, jump in the pool or pull out the sidewalk chalk. He is so looking forward to providing a loving home for our future child. He is kind, generous and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. What a wonderful father he will be!
About Sydney...
Sydney was blessed to have a childhood that allowed her to grow up living all around the world. Her father was in the United States Air Force which allowed her family to live in the United States, the Philippines and Germany all before her 10th birthday. Growing up around the world had given Sydney a love for travel and openness to new experiences.
In high school, she enjoyed choir, working on the school yearbook and cheerleading. She went to college where she received a Journalism degree in Public Relations. Since then, she has spent the past 13 years working in the field of Marketing. Since she is so outgoing and loves to talk, this was the perfect career path for her.
Sydney's is the youngest of two girls. Her older sister adopted our only nephew, Sam, from Guatemala in 2003. Sydney has learned so much about adoption and motherhood from her sister.
Her parents are both retired and anxious for their second grandchild. Sydney's mother loves doing "Grandma" things including baking cookies, doing crafts and reading books. Sydney's Dad is looking forward to long walks, going to the zoo and just watching our future child grow.
Since childhood, her parents have re-married and she's gained two stepparents and two half brothers. Although her family is small, there is no doubt they are big on love.
About Bryon...
While Sydney was growing up around the world, Bryon was born and raised in the country. He is an only child and like Sydney, his family is small but close-knit. Some of his favorite childhood memories are of spending the summer at his grandparent’s farm. There he learned to garden, raise animals, ride dirt bikes and climb trees. Bryon's mother still lives on the farm today and we can't wait for our future son or daughter to experience some of those similar childhood memories at Grandma's house. In high school, Bryon played basketball and baseball and spent a great deal of time helping his grandparents on their farm. He then went on to college where he studied English and Communications.
Bryon's mother lives just down the road and has recently retired from 30 years as an elementary school teacher. She is so excited and is already picking out books for her and baby to read together.
Bryon's father is also retired and is looking forward to being a first time Grandpa. He loves to golf and be with family.
Our Home...
We live in a suburban 4 bedroom home nestled in a cul-de-sac that is perfect for playing sidewalk chalk and riding big wheels. We have a huge backyard and tons of neighbor kids to play with. Not only is our home surrounded by some of the best schools in the nation, but it is warm, cozy and the perfect place for sharing time with our friends and family.
Our subdivision has a pool, park, walking trails and a ton of fun family activities including the Fall Festival and the 4th of July Tri-cycle Parade. In the summer our hammock goes up and the barbecue grill comes out. Did we mention the slip-n-slide? It’s a hit with the neighborhood kids for sure! The only thing missing from our dream home is a little person to share it with. We can't wait!
In Closing…
We hope this has given you a small glimpse of who we are, what we like to do, and why we believe we may be the "right" parents for you and your child. Our friends and family are so supportive of our journey and look forward to the day we become parents. We are ready to start a new chapter in our story and know that we will soon find the child who is to be a part of our family.
We wish you the best of luck in your journey.
Sincerely,
Sydney & Bryon
