About Us Hello, our names are John and Michelle and we would first like to thank you for reaching out with such great courage in order to make what we can only imagine to be the most difficult decision in your life.

John and I have known one another since high school although we never ran in the same circles. It wasn't until 17 years following our graduations that our paths crossed again. Neither one of us thought for one single moment that one day we would become husband and wife, but after dating for over three years we were married in June of 2003 and happily celebrated our six year wedding anniversary. We recognize what a truly special relationship we have with one another. The time we spend together is easy, we laugh a lot and support each others dreams and ambitions while complimenting each others' personalities perfectly. Having so many common interests together is rare and we recognize that; what we are missing is a child who we can share it with as well. We both like having fun, life is too short not to enjoy each and every moment!!

We have much love and respect for one another, and have been able to come through adversity with patience, support and compromise. Many of our friends and family have mentioned how much we compliment one another, which quite honestly I feel describes us perfectly if I say so myself.

About John John is what I consider to be a loyal husband, friend, & colleague. He is true to himself and with others. He is kind and thoughtful and all of my friends always end up asking me the same question, "Are you sure he doesn't have another brother?' Well actually he does, two stepbrothers with children of their own - a total of five nieces and nephews. John also has a sister along with a very large extended family which stems from both of John's parents remarrying.

To be honest, the dynamics between all of his family and siblings is quite incredible. Granted they have differing appearances, yet the personalities and characteristics of each are very similar. His relationship with his family is very close and extremely important.

John is employed as a director for a commercial real estate investment banking firm just a few miles from our home. He is a "go getter" and is well liked amongst his peers and the community. His warmth, kindness and gentle nature are what made me fall in love with him and those same qualities will make him an amazing father.

About Michelle Michelle is one of the most incredible people I have ever met. She is passionate, determined, giving, energetic, outgoing and loving. Our nieces, nephews and friend's children love her. Anyone around us would tell you that Michelle will be a wonderful mother. I have enjoyed watching her with neighborhood children who have become very attached to Michelle because even though she keeps her relationship as one with an adult and child, she also allows herself to have a lot of fun with the child. She is not concerned of looking silly or being embarrassed of doing something - Michelle is the first one onto the trampoline with the kids. She is always willing to try something new and is determined to become proficient - in reality she only needs to be proficient enough to beat one of the guys for her to really enjoy it!! Her competitive streak runs deeply.

With Michelle being an adopted child herself, she already understands that the love between an adopted child and the parent is as strong as if born by that parent. A child in our home is the only thing missing and it is not from a lack of trying. Michelle is very close with her adoptive mother and are the best of friends.

Michelle is in her last semester of nursing school while working as a nursing assistant in a local hospital. Should all go well, Michelle will be a Registered Nurse by early 2010!!


Our Life Together

John and I both absolutely LOVE the outdoors and all creatures big and small. A German Short-haired Pointer who goes by the name of "Eddie" keeps the house filled with noise and would welcome an addition in the house. He is by far, the most patient and kindest animal. He is wonderful around our nieces and nephews and it's not uncommon for our friends and family to request that he come along.

Most of our days are shared together outside. Saltwater fishing in the summer is one of our passions together and many of our vacations manage to have a charter boat slipped in somehow. Michelle was introduced to fishing by John in 1999 when we first got together and she was hooked from the first fish. Other hobbies of ours include golf, horseback riding, softball, tennis, gardening, boating and time at the beach with family and friends.

Family Values Growing up in Catholic families, we would teach your child the same values that we were raised with; such as being patient and kind, consideration of others, honesty and that hard work will help fulfill any dream. We believe its important to give back to the community which is why we are both active in projects for communities in need and with elderly neighbors.

We live in a wonderful town; our home is right across the street from a playing field and diagonally from the community pool in which we belong. It is not uncommon to see our street full of children, of all different ages who playing outside in the fresh air.
