Dear Birth Parents,

We are honored that you would take the time to get to know us. We are deeply moved and in awe of your decisions and the sacrifice you are making. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are continually with you.


Jake and I have been married for seven and a half years now and we have three amazing sons, Sam, Grant and Kenny. We are truly grateful for them. We met in the summer of 2002 in college, and have been inseparable ever since. Sharing a love for laughter and discussion, we cemented our bond in marriage.
We love to go on trips! We have been to many places: St. Lucia, Wyoming, Nevada, Puerto Rico to name a few. One of our favorite places to go is Disneyland; we go there at least once a year. We also love to watch movies, play Wii, guitar hero, listen to music, swim, and go on bike rides. We also love sporting events. We are all very active in sports. But our favorite thing of all is just being together.

Gina’s thoughts on Jake Gina’s thoughts on Jake

Jake is very intelligent. He graduated from College with a degree in Health Service Administration and now works for IHC as a Manager. Jake is very goal oriented, motivated, and works so hard to support our family. He is also very outgoing and kind. Jake loves to run, bike, play basketball, travel and watch movies. His favorite thing, however, is playing with our sons. The boys wait anxiously for the garage door to open so they can play with their father after work. However, it is not only our sons that adore Jake. He has an incredible ability to make people feel comfortable around him, and they can sense his genuine love and concern. Jake has supported me through times of hardship. When we discovered we could no longer have children, I was devastated, and Jake was so understanding and loving. He consoled me through my heartache and we have developed a stronger bond for it. Jake is my best friend and my companion in every sense of the word. He makes me laugh and he holds me when I cry. Jake has been there through every trial and every joy.

Jake’s thoughts on Gina Jake’s thoughts on Gina
Gina is the oldest of three and, as such, is incredibly responsible and nurturing. Gina is a wonderful mother. Her love and affection for our children is evident; she would do anything for them. As a mother Gina is protective, yet allows our sons to learn by experiencing the world around them. She teaches them responsibility and respect for all. Gina is beautiful, loving and kind. She is a friend to all and is my best friend. I love to come home from work and spend time with her and the children. Gina is also very outgoing and loves to meet new people. Gina enjoys traveling; often flying the family to California for a visit to her mother, siblings, and their families. She also enjoys playing soccer and volleyball. Gina loves spending time with friends. However, family is always her number one priority. I love Gina. Her caring nature and her enthusiasm for life brings joy to our home and strengthens our family.

Jake and Gina’s thoughts on Sam, Grant & Kenny

Sam
Our oldest son, Sam, is five years old. He is very outgoing and fun. He enjoys music, magic tricks, and loves being a big brother. He loves to play with Lego’s and video games. He is mom’s big helper.
Grant
Our second child is Grant. He is four years old and VERY OUTGOING. He is always on the go and loves to do anything that will surprise us. There is never a dull moment with him. He loves to explore new things and he enjoys playing all kinds of sports.
Kenny
Our youngest is Kenny. He is one year old and spends his day climbing on anything he can get his hands on and trying to keep up with his older brothers. Kenny has a lot of personality and keeps Mom on the go.
They can't wait to have a little sister to love and protect.
