Robert & Robin are hopeful adoptive parents from Virginia waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Let Us Introduce Ourselves Hello there,

Our names are Bob and Robin! We would like to tell you a little something about ourselves and our lives, but first we would like to applaud you for making this courageous decision. As parents ourselves, we can truly understand how difficult it must be for you at this time. We hope and pray that you will allow us an opportunity to assist you in this endeavor and put your troubled heart at ease.

Bob works as a President of a company but started his career as a civil engineer, just like his dad. He does a great job of balancing his work life with his home life and makes time to accompany the family on several “sightseeing adventures” during the year. I am currently a stay at home mom who is completing the last few classes needed to earn my Psychology degree. Bob earned his Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee which he attended on a swimming scholarship. He excels in the water and even made it to the Olympic trials in California! W have a stable home environment, are debt-free and have a comfortable warm relationship with one another.
How We Met Each Other Bob and I have known each other for 9 years and have been married for the past three years. We met at work and over the years developed a great friendship. In 2006, that friendship deepened, and we later became engaged. We were married in 2007. Each day for us is a like a breath of fresh air! We are friends and lovers, as well as parents to two beautiful daughters. Bob and I enjoy spending time with one another and people often comment on our loving relationship. We both strive to put family first no matter what else is going on in our lives. We have a wonderfully supportive group of relatives that includes grandmothers, aunts, uncles, in laws and many, many cousins.

We like to spend our free time doing things outside such as swimming, hiking, walking, bike riding, and gardening. Bob swims 100 laps every day at our health club and then we try to walk every evening to stay fit and happy. On the weekends, we like to take drives into the mountains and walk trails or have a picnic lunch. My hobby is photography so it is also a great opportunity for me to get some beautiful pictures for my greeting cards or to frame for the family room.
Home is Where The Heart Is Bob and I have a beautiful large three level home, in the suburbs of Virginia, nestled in the mountains but close to the city. We have four bedrooms plus a large bright nursery area that is painted French Violet and decorated with happy colorful Zoo Animals. The nursery is full of stuffed animals, soft blankets, a beautiful new round cherry baby bed, and of course a tiny unisex Green Bay Packers onesie that Bob can't wait to dress the baby in. Our favorite rooms of the house are our kitchen where friends and relatives gather to “taste and talk” at the holidays and our media room on the lower level which Bob and I have painstaking constructed on our own, with some help from our daughters. The media room is warm and colorful, with overstuffed chairs and a big sofa for all the family to gather to watch movies and share a bucket of popcorn. Books line the walls, as well as hundreds of family photos and momentos. Our kitchen is large and open, with plenty of room for family to gather and talk (or pitch in) while the family meal is being prepared. Off the kitchen is the dining room with enough seating for 10-12 at a time. This room is often full of love, laughter, and of course eating!

We have a lot of love to offer! We are animal lovers and have 3 dogs!. Romeo, our greyhound is a rescue who is 4 and is often mistaken for a deer: Emo also 4 is an adorable long haired Chihuahua ,black with white paint drippings: and sweet Belle, our little fatty black dauschund, is the grand dame of the house at 13 years old. With all the family, animals and neighbors gathered, there is never a dull moment at our house!

Robin is the love of my life! We have so much fun together and it doesn't matter if we are dressed up and on the town, or in blue jeans at the movie theater. Robin has a huge heart and makes those around her feel treasured and safe. She is a natural born teacher and adores children! Robin always manages to see good in others and is one of the most caring people that I have ever known. Robin makes our house a home! Robin cannot wait to spend her days with a baby, loving & teaching it and that she why she elected to be a stay at home mom.

Bob and I are a perfect fit! We love doing things together and find happiness in the simplest of things. Bob is truly the one for me! He makes me smile like no one else can and he can lift my spirits with just a word or look. Bob inspires trust in people and is a great leader. He is true to his word, confident and such a gentleman. Bob's optimism astounds me! He can make even the bleakest situation appear hopeful! We are both truth blessed to have found love with each other!
