Nicholas & Sarah are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birthmother We are Sarah and Nick. We open our hearts to you and are overwhelmed with joy that you have chosen to look at our profile and learn about our lives. We can only imagine how difficullt this decision must be for you. It takes incredible strength and courage to make this decision and find a couple that you believe will give your child the most loving and nurturing home. This is the most precious gift you have to give and the most important decision you have to make. We hope that by turning the pages of this profile, we will have made your decision easier.

How we met... We met on a blind date, that was set up by one of our mutual friends. We became friends first and then started dating. We were inseparable and after one and half years, we were engaged. We got married on a beautiful spring day in Pennsylvania where Sarah is originally from. All of our close friends and family shared in our special day. We have now been married for five years and after trying to conceive a child of our own for four years, we realized the most important thing was that we want to be parents. We both yearn for the opportunity to extend our family through adoption. We know that we will provide your child with a loving, caring, nurturing and safe home. We cannot imagine our lives without children and are both eager and excited to be parents. We will love, cherish and protect your child forever.

Our Lives... Nick comes from a very large family. His is the second oldest of six children. They all cannot wait for us to add a new addition to the family. All of Nick's family live very close to us and we seen them every Sunday for a special lunch of homemade pasta and sauce at his parents house. Nick works full-time for the International Longshoremen's Association in the Elizabeth, New Jersey Seaport and owns his own construction business in addition. Nick has a lot of flexibility with both of his jobs so he can be home for dinner and be a hands-on dad. One of Nick's favorite hobbies is fishing. His parents have a summer home in Long Island where we spend a lot of our weekends in the summer. He cannot wait to take our children and teach them how to fish.
Sarah comes from a smaller family, who is very close and cannot wait for the first grandchild or niece or nephew to be added to the family tree. Sarah is the oldest of three and she is very close to her parents and younger brother and sister. Sarah is a self-employed pediatric occupational therapist and works with children with special needs. She has the utmost compassion for what she does and carries that over into everything. She will have the flexibility to be a stay at home mom and give unconditional love and compassion to our children.

Our Family
We were both raised by such amazing parents that set incredible examples and taught us values and the importance of family. We are both so close to each of our families and share every holiday together. Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas are always celebrated with a lot of love and our families have wonderful traditions that make it that more special. We cannot wait to carry on those traditions to our family. Our families are very supportive in our decision to adopt a child and are eager for our dream to come true.

Together
We both enjoy spending time together and with our family and friends. We always surround ourselves with people who are kind-hearted and make us laugh. We are so close and know each other so well. We are always laughing and having fun no matter what we are doing. We built our home four years ago and take such pride in making it warm and cozy. We enjoy gardening together and are always finding new projects to conquer. We live in a wonderful neighborhood that is very family oriented. The schools are great and the parks are all within walking distance.
We love going on vacation and have had some amazing trips. One of the most memorable was traveling across the United States from New Jersey all the way to California. We never thought our country was so beautiful and were in awe with all of the amazing things we saw along our travels. We are so eager to take our children to the incredible places that we have been and share the joy that we have had together with them.

Our Dog
We have a dog, Toby, and he is so much fun! He is a Llasa Apso and is a cute little fur-ball. He is always on our Christmas card and every year, our family and friends get such a kick out of what we dress him up as. He is such a great disposition and loves people. He has known the game of fetch since the day we brought him home and it is favorite thing to do. He loves our nieces and nephews and cannot wait to have a little playmate to love and protect!
